Based on his past sales and purses, Wilder doesn't "deserve" 50/50, but he has something AJ wants and needs, which is the WBC title.
If AJ became undisputed HW champ he would be in a position to offer whatever he wanted to whovever he wanted. And if they didn't like it .. well, let them earn a mandatory shot and settle for 30% or 20%, as the case may be.
Personally, I don't think Wilder would accept 50/50 if he was offered it now. He could come back from a points defeat to Fury and fight for big money again in the future, but getting brutally KTFO by AJ would finish him.Comment

Have to agree , Hearn has fumbled AJ reputation on how he’s viewed by many fans.
Hearns ego and arrogance after the Klit fight thinking he controlled the entire HW division and that every HW had to get on a knee and kiss the ring and do as their told has backfired the last year or so . AJ is Scared of no man but allowing Hearn to be his mouthpiece while he plays games , lies and make excuses about potential fights fans want to see has killed AJs reputation the last year among North American boxing fans and seems to have taken a bit of a hit in the UK as well. Because most people see through his BS and while Hearn is just looked at as a typical Promoter scumbag with a used car salesmen approach and philosophy , it’s AJs rep that’s taken a hit among fans and media
In the meantime Hearn has allowed other HWs ( Wilder / Fury ) to have their reputation make huge gains in the last year because they were willing to take risks like when Wilder fought Ortiz or Fury agreeing to a Wilder fight after only 2 fights and agreed to fight each other without either side putting up any obstacles or roadblocks before they fought and didn’t have their promoter play petty games ,like saying if they really wanted the fight theyd have to fight this fighter first with no guarantee of the fight actually happening or doing non stop media into trying to make themselves be part of the storyline , saying that they have to agree to what’s seen as low flat fee offer if they want the fight . they just negotiated behind closed doors came to a quick agreement without any BS and had a great fight which will produce a anticipated rematch. Fans appreciate and respect that and them willing to fight each and risk their 0s in their prime makes both fighters winners as far as public perception goes.Comment

Wilder is my hometown fighter, so I'm biased.
But I find his fights to be intense throughout because you never know when he's going to KO someone with one punch, or get in trouble himself. His fights have some periods that are boring looking back on them, but in the moment you can't blink. Last three fights: utter destruction in Stiverne II like he's a boxing movie villain, back and forth war with Ortiz, all time classic final round vs. Fury. He's can't miss TVComment

This is the problem with overpaying fighters. Hearn has overpaid most fighters that AJ has fought.
Now Wilder/Fury DO deserve a split rather than a flat flee however they believe it should be higher than what is offered.
When you look at it realistically in terms of what fighters bring to the table in regards to revenue, Whyte, Miller, Takam, Povetkin, Parker have all been overpaid in their fights with Joshua.
After Wilder v Fury II if Wilder wins his profile will be fight enough to demand a large split but what he was originally offered was way more than his worth.
Warren is salty, if it was him promoting AJ he would spin the argument that you can only pay someone their worth.... now hasn't he a shopping centre in Brighton to fill.Comment
