And then King tried to get Vanes to pay for the taxes on the money he (King) took! You really can't make this sh it up. And re-the WBC what does he expect? They made him the mandatory at 154 and he expects a title shot? Mate you would wait forever to get your shot, just look at Breazeale.
even 50/50 is insane. Pretty sure the legal maximum a promoter can get is 35% and I don't remember Don in the corner with an Enswell.

Sorry I have little to no sympathy for Vanes he has simply trashed too many people and burned too many bridges. Motherphuker you didn't sign with Don King in the 80's or 90's when nobody knew King was a snake or he had a power grip on the sport and you needed to do it to get fights. You signed with King in 2017 when it's been decades of King being exposed as a snake and he has been pushed a side by new age promoters and advisers that treat fighters better and have more influence.

All Vanes does is talk shyt he trashed Top Rank wanted out, trashed Al Haymon and shot his way out of PBC. He's talked shyt about Golden Boy, talked shyt about belt orgs, engaged in a phuking bizzare beef with Canelo that made no sense for all of 2018. He is the one constant in all his dramas. Nobody has a nice thing to say about working with this clown. It's like the bytch who has drama with every one of her boyfriends, and says all men ain't shyt. After 1, 2, 3, 4, ect bytch the problem is clearly you. You got big fights more then most fighters and didn't win ANY of them and always has an excuse always somebody to blame for bad choices you made and bridges you burned along the way. You with Don King because no other promoters wanted to work with this loud mouth clown.

The whole point of the Ali Act is the protect the fighter’s business, self worth, more than anything. That goes for any promotor low balling. The fighters comes first. This is why Al Haymon is King. “Overpays fighter” doe and industry ******s tried to run the narrative that Haymon was tampering with the Ali Act, but, “he overpays fighters... do he exist?” - Bob Arum

Dominic Wade was a substitution in the corrupt scheme of the IBF to allow a fighter on house arrest to compete. But Al Haymon didn’t let HBO exploit this disadvantage without letting his fighter get paid well with a 500k purse! Wade took a dive proper just like Vanes. These guys knew short notice they didn’t stand a chance, and if you’ve got a family there’s no need to play hero against a dangerous and elite foe.

Vanes left Haymon and low and behold PBC Fox and Showtime is now starting to pop.

He got a 300k. You have to pay an advance back.

This right here. He's been with too many different promoters and has publicly trashed EVERYONE of them. Bob Arum, Al Haymon, Don King ect. And it's not just promoters, advisers, managers he's gone through numerous different trainers trashed all of them too. He showed up in the ring with Ronda Rousey's coach (A phuking MMA coach) to fight GGG because he's a phuking headache to deal with. Let's be real he signed with Don King because nobody else wants to work with him.

Wait, Don King is crooked? If there was only some way Vanes could have known before signing with him....

All that being said, I hope he has one last decent/good run in him before he hangs them up.
Exactly, everyone knows what King is and always has been.
Vanes knew better - except he didn't!

The reason Vanes went to Don King was because he got a $300,000 signing bonus.... That's the only reason. But if things didn't work out for him then he has nobody to blame but himself!
