Y so many emotional people on here? U Brits (not all) seem to b very nationalistic. I've only been on here a week and it seems to me like u care more about some celebrity representing ur country more than u do about the actual sport. I personally don't care where a fighter is from or what color he is for that matter. If he has a style I like and seems like a decent dude outside the ring then I support him. Loma, Crawford, Ramirez, fury, commey, Mikey, etc... I don't understand this blindly supporting a fighter no matter what he does just because he's from ur country. Loma is my favorite fighter but arum said if he couldn't fight commey that theyd find someone other than crolla. If he doesn't do what he says I'm gonna call bull*****t even tho I like him. I swear I bet some of u guys **** ur girl (or boyfriend) from behind with a picture of AJ taped to their back. U guys need to calm down. Again that's not all Brits, just the crazed ones constantly trying to act superior cause they believe AJ being champ and being from their country somehow makes them better than other people. The rest of youse, u cool tho.

Which Is why I think they made this fight. Miller still kinda raw so its a good time for AJ to go after him not to mention Boosting AJs profile in The US. Brits probably will come out to support AJ but I think the concept is to have American fans come out and support him. He already big in Britain. AJ earning 25M-30M not to shabby. Thought Al was the guy who made the most money for his fighters?

I can understand Whyte not taking 7M flat fee considering Miller getting 7M, White got a bigger name and better resume more deserving. Wilder can make more than 15M for AJ. 3M purse seemed low for Fury 1, despite PPV and other revenue = $10M payday Approx.
I don't blame Wilder Fury for doing the rematch, its a good thing. Wilder strong but can't box ,AJ more well rounded. Id like to see Ortiz get better work hes good but getting old. Usky got Skills for sure but can he hang with the big boys. Props to Joe Joyce for stepping up against Stiverne. that's all I got...
Nice unbiased post. From that I couldn’t tell who you support which I am of course equally guilty of.

Stiverne is a cherry pick he is washed. That is not a step up for Joyce. They sparred before Stiverne got knocked out in a round by Wilder and Joyce said he is a punching bag. Stiverne gets knocked out by Joyce by the 7 th round and doesn’t lose one round in the process

I have my fighters that I support but I try to keep it real. Everyone knows I support Wilder but I think he comes off as a little salty in this interview. He’s got his own thing going and he should be focused on that.

Of course he is going to say that it would have been better to go to America to fight him. The same way that if the WBC Champion was from the moon, Joshua would have to go there to fight him. Wilder's ego and agenda dictates that he should discredit this fight.

Time and time again Wilder cannot maintain what he says and he quickly forgets things. He accepted the $15m 'for the fans' and to 'show that he actually wanted the fight' so not sure what he trying to say regarding the offers that were made to make the Joshua v Wilder fight.

Wilder needs to focus on getting the Fury rematch made. Fury is coming back and he will be fitter and more ready for this fight. Wilder does not, IMO, have the capacity to improve enough to beat Fury if it goes the distance. Wilder has as much change in beating Fury that Miller has in beating Joshua.

It’ll be interesting to see how AJ / Miller does

I can’t help but think Hearn has been out maneuvered

Has Wembley booked in August with plans of expanding to a 100k. In the last minute they pull the chute for reasons I can only
Assume they know it’s be a tough sell if no Wilder / Fury as a opponet. decide to fight in the States against a fighter who’s from NY but with no fans in a fight that No one really was really calling for for AJs American Debut

And if the rumours are true AJ/Miller will happen 2 weeks after the eagerly anticipated Wilder / Fury rematch which will also be in NY and you’d think that fight will swallow up most of the press / buzz / hype beforehand and not leave much for AJ / Miller after

Maybe I’m wrong and AJ /Miller gets crazy press and build up before and is a smashing success , but just seems like Not the best strategic move to make

Hopefully i would be able to make this fight, never been to New york before, never seen AJ fought before. Was planning to come to NY this year and this just seems like a great opportunity.

Why is he talking about 50mil and 15mil.. that’s old news, he wants to brag about how he accepted 15mil low ball slave contract but won’t mention how he rejected the 60/40 split?? Something is wrong there, why would he accept the lesser off but reject the better one.

I get it, he’s trying to say Hean and AJ low balled him, but the 15mil flat fee is old new dude they have loads of new offers since then including a 60/40 which you never responded to so stop lying to the public like 15mil is all they offered.

Also he says they should have took the fight with him lol they tried Wilder was the one saying he won’t fight AJ for 2 years as he’s interested in Fury.. They sent Wilder contracts so it was upto Wilder to “TAKE THE FIGHT” but now he’s blaming AJ for the fight now happening when it was Wilder that didn’t take the fight.

Thanx, I appreciate you saying that. I do my best to be fair and unbias but keep it real. I try to give different prospectives and explain things clearly. I've been following Boxing heavy since 86. I call em like I see them. I don't expect everyone to agree with me but I do my best. Always learning. I've only been posting for a week or two. I got into it with another member 1st or 2nd day posting and I think some felling's were hurt. I was accused of using a alt account at one point and being bias. I'm going to do my best to not repeat that scenario as everybody's entitled to there opinion and little respect go's a long way. I believe I have the ability to separate out bias and provide facts, yet were all bias in one way or another.

I agree with you on Stiven he's not that hot. Was impressed Joyce was fighting him in his 6th pro fight. I get the felling Joyce has experience and is actually trying to get to the top asap. He's got a way to go but its a sart. I haven't followed him much and din't realize they spared before. Your take on that sounds right on.
