There was no option for him to fight Wilder, there is no comparison to make. The whole $50m PR stunt had no substance whatsoever, from the moment the words came out of his mouth, Finkels phone was going straight to voice mail whenever Hearn tried to call and discuss it.

So my post is totally relevant, there was no fight with Wilder, so it’s pointless for him to
make like it was an option.

As for Miller being a big draw, times are changing, it’ll be a loss making event backed by DAZN to land a few thousand subscribers, empty seats aren’t going to worry them.

It’s pick a side and choose a story and each to their own there’s no truth to be found here when the waters as muddied by so many different facets, I would say they are both right(excluding matchroom) and both wrong like a Stephenson Jackson novel choose your path and back the story.

From my part I think the criticism levelled at Joshua is a little unfair. He is a boxer that’s it and he can try and pose as a business man but he has no acumen for that game. Joshua’s downfall is his team they are the weakest link. He seriously needs a solid management team and structure with degrees of separation between roles to avoid conflicts of interest.

Joshua is in a league of his own in terms of revenue in UK. His numbers are big and as such he should invest in hiring a staff that has the capability to protect his financial/public persona interests. I believe it’s the lack of that boardroom level expertise we are where we are with AJ travelling to NYC for a Miller bout and his public persona getting a hit.

Eddie Hearn needs to Foxtrot Oscar and sit in the background no one has any interest in his public persona existence in boxing. Every time he engages his mouth it seems his brain is disengaged maybe there’s too much blood rushing downstairs when the cameras are on him.

Eddies recently requested Tyson not sign a rematch so he can fight Joshua next should he beat Wilder. Now that is a preposterous statement. If your boy Joshua is the only game in town then all paths lead to him there is 0 need to make these statements unless of course you begin to acknowledge that Joshua is fast running out of credible opponents at his desired pay check levels and lest we forget the offer as it stands now is 50/50. C U Next Tuesday.

Fury Vs Wilder II will be of course the one to watch this summer because whether you admit it or not that is not a foregone conclusion. Unfortunately for AJ his fight with Miller is going to be in the shade of that fight and that is laid squarely at the feet of matchroom.

I won’t be watching Joshua Miller but I will check the result whether it’s 3 6 or 9 rounds. Joshua has a problem as if he can knockout Miller in 3 rounds his critics will savage that outing so he might have to toy with Miller to give the watching fans a spectacle. This is assuming Miller brings nothing to the table. There are levels in boxing I’m not sure Miller has demonstrated he is at a competitive level to give Joshua a fight.

Joshua’s first night in US I have to back a travelling champion takes some courage to pick up sticks and move to an unknown location.
It sure seems like Wilder and co are sticking it to AJ and Match Room best they can. Eddie seemed like he was doing well for himself and Matchroom. Recently tho he had more difficulties making fights.
He comes off as arrogant at times, all promoters seem too. I got the felling Wilder took it more personally and either him or his team felt it was going to be a difficult fight to make for many reasons so they went sideways and in some ways out maneuvered Eddie on this one or so it seems.

Yet AJ raking in $25M-30M for his up coming fight vs Miller and at best Wilder made $10M total for Fury and was lucky to walk away with a draw. Upside is Wilder will probably make more for the rematch and will either build his profile and bargaining power with a win or vice versa with a loss.

It reminds me of a similar situation with Bernard Hopkins. Hopkins was having issues making a fight with Adonis Stevenson as was Kovalev. So Hopkins and Kovalev simply refocused there energy on each other and left Stevens in the cold. Mind you Hopkins lost badly in that fight while Kovalev made a name for himself, dint realy need Stevenson after that. I think it will work out better for AJ. Lets face it $25m for Miller, he doesn't need Wilder for the revenue even if he could make $50M for Wilder. He needs Wilder title to be Undisputed and the face of Boxing, which in turn should make him even more money and fame. AJs getting payed either way.

Wilder shouldn’t say a god damn word about anyone but his own fight
That's not the way it works though is it?

The 50 million dollar offer was real, and you fan boys only started saying that it wasn't after it appeared that Hearn was seeking a fight in the US with Miller. Never mind that, Hearn could have easily made Wilder and offer for a fight in the US just as he did with Miller. As such, it was an option.

Based on the bold, you basically side with Wilder regarding the performance of the Miller Joshua fight.

Hearn wanted Miller because he is lower risk and an in house fight for him. They don't call him British Bob for nothing.

Now Hearn is putting out all of his normal BS of how dangerous the opponent is for Joshua.

I hope it all backfires and Miller beats Joshua, but the first stutter step Miller takes will probably get the fight stopped in Joshua's favor.

The clown that's been ignoring all messages and contact from Hearn/Joshua decides to open his mouth after Joshua signs a fight. Everyone knew this was coming.

                    Disappointment

Joshua would it did better giving the big gypsy a go or Wilder 4 that matter maybe even Ortiz a go but this Kid From Brooklyn never heard of him this is really bad for boxing in my mind the best fight the best in any and all circumstances whatever fight class there is the champ should give all champs and top three contenders a match whenever and wherever they want if he is the real champ he should be willing to fight anyone of them in a phone booth at any given time as long as he gets a 60-day rest he should be defending all four of his belts every 60 days and get that money here young man

Uh oh Deontay, you know you upset the British ultranationalists with this one. You might as well have spit on your hand and slapped the queen rather than speak the truth like that. We all know that msg will be full of loud, drunken piss head, boorish hooligans singing soccer songs.
