    PBC officials and Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, have been negotiating for weeks, and now that the deal’s within reach, an announcement is expected next week, per sources

          Why did the WBC bother ordering it if they are just guna allow them as long as they want. Not that im looking for it to be pushed to purse bids i just dont understand the ordering of the fight at all.

              I really don't think that would be the case. I mean how does that benefit this fight? The faster you announce the better as you want as many traveling Brits as possible. Now some will buy tickets for the Joshua fight since it was available first.

              The purse splits and what not have already been agreed to. Just probably now securing the venue and other small details.

                  Wilder vs Fury has been a marketable slogan ever since its inception, and everyone knew the potential of a rematch. Wilder vs Fury settlement never needed AJ vs Usyk, Ortiz, or whoever.

                              Great. Hopefully a better undercard this time. Possibly Charlo/Harrison2 since Hurd is fighting the week before? and they always seem to put Ortiz on as a backup.
