Every time a close decision doesn't go to the newest savior you guys anoint as the man who takes down the American or Mexican you love to hate, you cry about judges being bought. Grow a pair. Ward Kova 1 was a close fight and Ward got the nod. System is only broke when your guy doesn't win. Guess the system landed that right hand that put Kova on ***** street. Guess the system knocked Machado out.

        Pathetic

He fought twice after having the Injury

And talked about fighting Joshua right after kovalev rematch

And even though he said he couldn't run for first kova camp , the way he talked about it suggested he could for second fight

Ward and rocnation are trying to run a scam

        Disgraceful

But what do you expect from a dumb promoter who got swindled by ward by overpaying for kov rematch and now gonna most likely waste more money paying legal fees, and a Cheater in ward

Vyacheslav Glazkov had a career ending knee injury.

Ward hurt his knee and then had his career defining victories the next month and then later that year?

The lawsuit is BS though. Lloyds of London have a long history of insuring athletes and celebrities for really weird things (they're the ones that you'll read insure an artists hands, or a ****stars c*ck) and they always pay out.

I'm not saying they are going to win the lawsuit, but to call it BS without seeing the policy or the petition is a stretch. The question a judge or jury will have to answer is can Ward fight on the injured knee without health risk. When he first injured the knee may be irrelevant because the policy may insure Ward for a # of future fights or projected earnings.

Ward is the primary plaintiff with et al used to signify that other en****** were benefactors of the insurance policy. Someone gave the notion that RocNation was seeking to recoup losses...yet all they would get is a portion of the 6.3M as if it were a purse.

You can actually see the difference with Ward's movement, it is extremely noticeable, he became a very static fighter before that.

As far as this lawsuit goes...who knows. Maybe the fix was temporary.
Finally someone who knows what they're talking about.

The fact that he turned down what would have been a very lucrative Tony Bellew fight is a strong indication that the knee is not in good condition. If Lloyd's settles it would be considered a win for RNC and Ward.
Very possible that would be Ward's and RNC's argument. However, the insurance company could counter with evidence such a Ward continuing to fight after the injury and during those fights he showed no issues with his knee. They could point to numerous interviews where Ward mentions the reasons why he retired. I have seen many and he never mentions his knee injury as the reason why he no longer fights. He mentions time with his family, no more desire, and wanting to live a healthy life after boxing not one word of an injury causing his retirement.

I think this is yet another court case Ward will likely lose. My opinion he was looking for the insurance company to actually settle on a smaller amount, but it seems as if the insurance company was not interested. This means they have a strong court case.

Doesn't really matter what they told the public. Doesn't matter if he fought again. What matters is what the policy says and if Ward has doctors saying he can't or shouldn't fight again due to an injury. If the policy says it has to be a singular incident, Ward likely will lose, but if the policy isn't explicit in that area, he could win.

Ward will have his doctor and the insurance will have theirs. And of course it all depends on the wording of the policy, that is obvious. But more than likely Ward has already sent the insurance his docor's opinions and the insurance seems not to be too impressed with it otherwise why risk trial. But in trial it all won't come down to doctor versus doctor Ward's boxing performances after his claimed injury will come into evidence. His own words will come into play at trial. His athletic performances after injury will come into play at trial. Just like any insurance case if a claimant claims disability and a doctor backs it up (not hard to find a doctor to do so) yet there is video evidence that contradicts Wards and his doctor's claims it will be assessed by the judge or jury.

For example Ward's claim is his injury ended his career early costing him x amount of $. Ward and his dr's claim his injury prohibits him to pivot or move in certain ways causing pain, etc. Or further fighting would cause too much damage. Yet Lloyd's have a video of Ward playing basketball running up and down the court, shooting jump shots, and showing no signs of knee injury would you as a juror award him his insurance payout? Most jurors would not.

I am sure the insurance company especially Llyods since they have a history of getting screwed for example by wrestlers, have a policy on Ward that they believe he is not entitled to a payout.
