To me the article kind of makes it sound like a fight was already in the pipeline but conditional on Broner winning the fight.

Battle of the Backfoot is the title of this one. Marathon runners are all invited! Free running shoes & energy drinks plus razor blades too!

Hell broner doesn't even deserve a title eliminator. he's a high profile gate keeper that will never win the big fights.

It surprises me, but then again it doesn't, that Broner is still considered relevant in the boxing world.

Thurman needs quality wins as well. If anyone needs a title eliminator is him. Hope he gets that work against Manny. Even at his old age, the guys B game is better than most fighters A game just like Tim Bradley said.

I like Keith and I’m not going to be over critical of his performance. He ****** and moved when he wanted to but even before his lay off the guy can’t take punch. I imagine him and Crawford because of their athleticism are rarely getting touched in sparring and rely heavily on their movement to get out of trouble. I’m speculating here, compared to a Spence that is intent both in his fights and in sparring to walk you down. Any fighter that adopts that tactic of walking fighters down has to have some belief in their chin( not saying slick movers have weak chins) because they are there to be hit

When Thurman was hit he was like a deer in headlights. Bouncing back startled and getting hit again. Tells me he is not used to being in that situation.

I will always favour a boxer to a slugger but the way Thurman fought the last 3 rounds against DannyGaria was horrible. Injury or no injury that was running. His power I’m beginning to discover is overrated
