I love uk people. I've got a few friends living there, hundreds of customers there. I've watched British TV since I was a kid.

The fans on this site though are some of the worst. Few of them can talk boxing. It's all about boxing celebrities.
Not stereotyping all of them, just some of the loudest ones.

This is the real Deontay? I was at the staples center. What an amazing fight. You and Fury showed pure class.

This should be a great fight whilst it last. Not sure what to make of the WBC sanctioning the fight. So whatever happened to the "We were obligated" to give Breazeale a title shot. This guys just makes it up as they go along.

WBC have been in the spot light recently for the heavyweight division. They have made a cacophony of errors considering they are one of the most prestigious governing body. They traditionally tend to sanction and align themselves with the best most popular and interesting bouts. However since Deyonce became champion it’s been a bit farcical. The WBC further confused the landscape by the eliminators for mandatory position Dillian/Breazeale/Ortiz/Molina. Breazeale came through his but whyte never fought Ortiz and that circus of bouts seems a bit pointless looking at the rankings and considering Ortiz had already been defeated by Wilder. I can only speculate that the sanctioning fees for these bouts meant that the WBC were looking to put forward a very credible opponent for Wilder that had both solid revenue and was the best of the bunch. This does leave Whyte jumping through endless hoops for the mandatory status and he could remain in that position for a while when we look at the prospect of unification bouts for the main government bodies for wilder/fury/Joshua. This present another uniques picture and that is the value of Joshua holding the WBO strap, perhaps it’s best that is relinquished in my view and given to a potential whyte/fury matchup. Whats the point of holding a belt whereby it’s mandatories have no chance of fruition in the short term future. There’s a case there to be answered and a play for Whyte clearly can’t be right waiting many years as a mandatory for a title shot by bending the rules.

I digress and in the case of this forum I think this is a good move for Whyte, he needs to keep busy and prove his minerals against any and all opposition. His attitude of wanting to stay active is refreshing and certainly paves an interesting story for a heavyweight who is not quite in the same place as wilder/fury/Joshua but wants to be amongst the ‘big boys’. It looks pretty clear that if whyte keeps beating these guys they put infront of him he will get a shot all of the big three, just a question of when not if...

I think they put themselves in it with the Wilder protecting thing, first they place Gerald washington into the WBC ranking, a few weeks after the Wilder fight was annouced to give the Wilder fight some validity, up to that point Washington was unheard of and didn't fight anyone in the WBC ranking to get up in their ranking.

Then the whole Breazeale/Molina/Whyte situation, then Fury came from no where and got a shot. To compound it all, Fury wasn't tested in accordance with the Top 10 WBC ranking prior to the Wilder/Fury annoucement.

They basically make the rules up as they go along, it's either to appease/Protect Wilder or their pockets. Breazeale was used to block Whyte from fighting Wilder, now they have mandated the fight between those two, what guarantee is there that the winner gets the Wilder/Fury winner?

We would await the next WBC spin.

You Peter Fury, right? Well just a fair warning, dunno if you got high blood pressure, but you and John might want to stay home, relax, and catch the rematch on replay.

We found some big holes in Tyson's game and we been working on things in the gym. Got some secret weapons to show off in May. First time, I done knocked a few screws loose. Second time, Imma short circuit the big Gyp once and for all.

Like Roy Jones said, Ohhhhh! He not getting up Jim. He not getting up.

                      "trouble is coming"

This guy sounds and looks super corny. I remember he said the same thing and got put in his place by AJ.
