Exactly, people tend to forget that Broner was supposed to blow Maidana away in this fight and move on to bigger things. Marcos Maidana had recently looked absolutely horrible against Devon Alexander (lost every round and almost got stopped) and had wars with Soto Karass and Josesito Lopez.

This dude is such trash, his boxing style can put anyone to sleep. 12 rounds of nothing. Be gone.Comment

You mentioned gatti, and I'm from Jersey myself and was one of his biggest fans, but what big wins did he have? 9 losses, only 2 div champ. Not only is Adrien a 4 div champ, double of gatti, but he was the youngest ever to do it! HOF usually award things like that. Plus he's still young; could potentially become champ again before retiring, which would add to the accolades. He's already a 5x champ
Totally different scenario.
Broner has won paper titles in 4 weights. He's never been the actual Champion at any weight.
No big wins. Zero.
He simply will not get in. There is literally 0% chance of that happening.
I'd be shocked if he even gets on the ballot.Comment

I rated Broner’s potential really high when he first hit the scene. It’s really a shame he’s so undisciplined. Had he really established himself at 135 with a nice run with the title, maybe 6 defenses and then unified and then moved up to 140 and won something there he would be seen in a different light. He took those fights as a shortcut to redemption. Not because he was looking for the best competitor. All those gambles backfired. If he can manage to grab a belt at 140 and carefully manage himself he might be able to save face. Although he’s already done a ton of damage to whatever reputation he had.Comment

Well, he's not wrong, but we can say this about any fighter. He wouldn't have earned the paychecks he is getting had he not fought the tough fights he took. Too many fighters today care more about preserving that precious "0" in the loss column instead of fighting the best at their best.Comment

Broner is so damn ******. Of course if he only fought guys he was sure to beat he would never lose but that's true of any boxer. He is from the streets? Hell everyone is from the streets. Before the Pacquiao fight he said he would KO Pacquiao. Then he ran away the whole fight. No wonder he doesn't take much punishment. Broner loves money like most of us do. So he takes hard fights because they pay well. If he wants to be undefeated he has to turn down the highest paying fights.Comment

Lmao
Ya your also be undefeated if u didn’t go to clubs , drink , and grope random ass woman partying and eating yourself out of your weight class . The last reasonably good thing Broner did was draw with Jesse Vargas , then that gravy train got derailed when Thomas dulrome pulled off the same feat next .....sorry Broner you are an over paid gatekeeper who is afraid to throw punches . I always tune in and watch to see if you let your hands go , but that’s not happening anymore , you are scared for some odd reason . Hopefully Madaina comes back a complete shell and wants to fight u again that is your only hope for revenge in any of your loses , u won’t get the credit for beating Vargas anymore after he gets beat up at 154Comment
