Just enjoy the ride, boy. Don't rush fighting Loma because it can wait for a decade to happen. Wait till Loma is 45 and that would be the right time.

Sometimes folks, fights needs time to marinate. At least Tank was honest. He said that he wasn't ready for Loma right now but in due time he will. Remember that he is yet still green and still needs more time to develop.

Moreover, Davis isn't waiting for Loma to get old he is waiting to get more seasoning and big fight experience. He is yet still untested. Also, keep in mind that he's only 24 years old. So give him some more time to grow and mature into a world class fighter first before challenging "The Matrix".
