Quack quack quack
"We fought the same opponents" you mean you fought Loma's 5th or 6th best opponent, at a different weight class, his last fight at 130, and even drained, he felt brave vs you to fight you on the front foot, whereas vs Loma, the supposedly weak puncher, he fought on the backfoot all night. Nevertheless, despite the significantly increased level of difficulty Loma faced when he fought Pedraza, I still thought Loma gave a much better performance than Tank. The only thing Tank did better than Loma is Tank did what Loma did in the 11th round in the 7th round, 4 rounds earlier, and the ref stopped it when Pedraza got up, whereas vs Loma, the ref let him continue and then he got saved by the bell in the 11th and ran a marathon in the 12th to avoid getting hit again.
That's it. And it is to be EXPECTED that you would be able to do it earlier if the opponent is walking to you all night, instead of running away from you, and can't take a punch as well at 130 lbs, plus you're naturally bigger than Loma and SUPPOSED to be a way bigger puncher anyway.
Bottom line, Loma faced the Jose Pedraza boss on "legendary" difficulty. Tank faced him on "easy" difficulty this skinny drained weak looking bobble head version of Pedraza just marching forward right into Tank's power shots like he thought he was Brandon Rios. And yet, Loma still scored a higher score than Tank, overall. Tank scored a little better on hurting his opponent earlier, but in every other way, Loma outperformed him under much more difficult circumstances.
First fight after shoulder surgery, too...

Funny I met a lot if boxers but have never seen Pac up close? Ive seen JMM who is the smallest Tough SOB.
JMM or Barrera would give Tank a beating. He better slow his role or he gonna get Bronerized.

At the end of the day the Tank Davis detractors want him to lose because of his association with Mayweather. They recognize his talent, so they look to Lomachenko to be the guy to hand him the loss. For them this will simultaneously validate the exhalations they've heaped on Lomachenko since he doesn't have a career defining win.
You want a 24 year old who hasn't stepped up in competition yet to fight the bigger "best p4p fighter in boxing". I could understand if folks said, he needs to step his competition up and see Loma in the next year or two. I could see if Davis and his team were claiming to be the best but not fighting others that some see as the best. All I hear them talk about is what they want to be in the future.
When Davis and Lomachenko become big enough as individuals to justify a joint network deal it will get done. Until then...let's see Davis step up in competition at 130 or fight a former champ at 135 later this year.
