What next for Gervonta Davis?

At the start of 2017 Davis was the new breakout star of boxing and after going to watch him live in London, I was starting to believe the hype around Davis was legit, but since then... his career has really stalled. Issues in and outside of the ring, inactivity, poor matchmaking etc.

So what next?
The other champions are all have ties with other networks; Berchelt (ESPN)
Farmer (DAZN)
Ito (ESPN)
And aside from that the division is pretty much dead.

That’s why I think Davis should move to 135, he clearly has trouble making the 130 limit and his (realistic) options are far better at that weight:
Mikey Garcia (Presumimg he moves back to 135)
Robert Easter Jr
Javier Fortuna
Richard Commey

Likely mandatory fight next and then Farmer at years end when his contract with DAZN is up. After that it makes sense to move up to 135 unless GRJ moves up. That would be a nice DMV fight right there.

It was a four fight deal with DAZN. Not sure how many fights he's had with DAZN. March will be fight #3 I believe? Can't confirm that though.
