All of those names you listed were either unification, voluntary defences. The only Mandatory in your list is Povetkin/Carlos Takam (Pulev was the original Mandatory but got injured). This was Joshua who didn’t need 40 fights as well. This was a boxer that went from prospect to contender under 16/17 fights.

The only people who could insult a legend like Wlad Klitschko and call him shopworn and wash up are the worse fans in boxing currently.

Was about to post the same thing. The only thing I slightly disagree with is the Klitschko part. He was past his prime, coming off a loss and a 18 month lay off. I would say the Wlad that AJ fought would be equal to today's Manny. Still top 5 but not quite elite.

I can't co-sign this. Tank should be sharpening his talent against good quality opponents and building his name recognition to become a PPV fighter.

Just as skilled as Loma? That's ridiculous and anyone with a boxing IQ of any note would be able to discern that. Only casual Tank fans would think those two are equal in skill. Loma is once in a lifetime skill. Tank is all about power and weight advantage. 141 post weigh in, in yesterday's fight. Clearly he could fight at 135 but knows he'd be facing stronger dudes there.
