  • Post weigh-in Davis weighed 141, Ruiz 134. So, why is Tank fighting at 130? Move up and fight Loma. Otherwise these soft fights are all a mirage. And it means ****.

The Golden Boy card was definitely much more competitive and the better card

      • Just by Tanks responses to Jim Gray , you can tell their is not much on the horizon
When he got asked «* the question «* ho looked dumbfounded
Kind of like why you asking me that

And was it me or did Davis look like he didn’t wanna hear Floyd’s advice , very fake imo

        • Mares would've gotten his face broken too. Davis is a savage with those combos. but its time to take the Loma challenge. no more marinating. anything past this point is cowardice and ducking.

                  • I’m constantly impressed by how much force he generates.

Man, tank is just so good. The way he varies his punch speed and force and how he’ll get that angle once and immediately recognize it and then attack it the same way with a missle.

Ryan Garcia and these guys are in a fantasy world if they think they can compete. Outside of Loma and Mikey in a diff division, I don’t honestly believe anyone is going to put up the required resistance.

                    Maybe Berchelt...

Tank is obscenely powerfull at his weight. Abnormally so when you take into account his other attributes in speed/explosiveness. AND he’s a southpaw? AND he can box?

Tank is going to have to beat himself before I see him lose at 130.

I have to see him vs Berchelt.

Stop s hitting on the dude for his heavyness. He made weight. Don’t hate the player hate the game.

The VERY large percentage of the sport does it. You get down as far as you can....almost everyone cuts weight and the amount people cut is the amount they CAN. Canelo would be at 47 if he made it healthy. Crawford would still be at 35...etc etc.

The guy is 24 years old and though he doesnt seem unbeatable, he is legitimately formidable.

Not his fault Abner pulled out (which was a trash fight...but you’d do the same in his position fighting one of the bigger names in all the lower weight classes)

If the guy ups his activity and stays in shape because of if? That’s going to be scary.

                    • Everyone with a tiny bit of boxing knowledge knew this would happen, fighting a dude moving up 2 weightclasses, ranked outside of the top 35 in his lower weightclass.

We all know, Ellerbe and Floyd are scared to **** that Loma totally exposes the kid, but come on, at least fight somebody in his own weightclass for once? Farmer called him out, Berchelt would fight him, Ito or that guy who just beat Machado, whoever.
