Good for a fellow New Yorka!
Big Baby came up a bit uptown from my East Harlem hood, but we had Camacho and benitez used to come back and fourth...
People talk about Big Baby but I have seen his interviews and he strikes me as an intelligent guy who has learned to market himself. Most of us don't want to talk ourselves into a fight... but as a pro boxer? Baby has done exactly that. I say good for him!
As far as his chances, lets keep a few things in mind: A few kickboxing guys have been succesful coming into boxing, Miller and Whyte particularly have not done bad at all! Kickboxers have good endurance as a rule and throw a lot of punches... I don't think Big baby will freeze up...
Joshua has elite level skills and probably will figure out how to return fire pretty quickly. Big Baby has a chance to do good things if he can pressure Joshua and keep him off balance doing so. If he can do this he has good whiskers. Again both him and Whyte have good durability and he might suprise in his ability to take shots from Anthony especially if it goes into the middle rounds.
We know that Joshua is developing, but so is Miller. If he can look at some tape of Dempsey, Frazier, Marciano, etc... and start to understand head movement, he might make it interesting.
