You know I already said that. Canelo moving to 160-168 obviously means he is bigger than previous years. Though he was still neck to neck with GGG after Chavez Jr. All this means is that Canelo’s metabolism is slowing down as it should. He’s not able to trim regular weight (not water weight) as he did when he was 23 or 24. So for people to say that Canelo has been fighting in the mid 170s since 154-155, then what would Canelo be at 160 in the ring when he fought Gennady. Since GGG and Canelo were the same size, with GGG about 3lbs heavier, and we assume Canelo was 175 with GGG, then it’s obvious what Pavlik said, that GGG rehydrates to 175-180lbs. This is the only logical approach.

Gennady a big guy. When he was constantly active fighting 3 times a year he was walking around the same as Eubank Jr. who is a gym rat but now fighting a 168 and hardly fighting. Take away those 3 fights a year with GGG and he walks around heavy and like the 168 fighter that he is. GGG accomplished everything he could at 160. Time to move on to 168-175 now that HBO is gone in protecting the old narrative. Remember, “GGG could fight Kovalev at a 175.” -Abel Sanchez

I have a tip for you. NEVER read the commentary section of articles. It will make you puke. Most fans are not knowledgeable.
Wilder's legs are fine for boxing. Training for strength doesn't make athletes much bigger, especially if they are not genetically gifted in that regard. Big doesn't mean strong anyway.

        .

Bigchip Lol... okay so clearly we didn’t watch the same fight? As Bread said, saw Fury boxing the hell out of Wilder after round 3. That was expected. Then Saw Wilder do exactly what he was supposed to. He landed the big right hand and concussed Fury. If anything Fury’s preserverance and ability to raise himself from the dead was exposed. Exposed??? Are you saying that every fighter benefits from this point on because he now knows if he just wakes up from the concussion he has a chance to win the fight? What the ****? (BFS) Bias Feeds ******ity!!!

If G was 170 against Jacobs, it wouldn't make sense for him to suddenly balloon that much. Granted, we would have to believe HBOs numbers but at least we have some with him. But I do agree with you that a move up is better at this point. He hasn't looked the same since the Wade fight and it's only gotten worse.

Y’all always way to quick to call someone for example a GAYLORD! Always come off like tough guys from keyboard then say the gayest crap. Again that was a weird question on that we agree, calling the man Gaylord though, makes you sound like your over compensating.
Amen brother... the same guys are always insulting guys with words that only a gay man would be comfortable envisioning. We are visual thinkers so if you are constantly accusing another man of pronounced gay acts it’s because you are comfortable thinking about those same gay acts. These dudes are in the closet and that’s why they are so insecure.

VADA welcomes Anthony Joshua back to our program as he prepares to face Francis Ngannou March 8, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

                Miller doesn't do anything.
                Parker skips tests.
Fury signed up to VADA two weeks before the WIlder fight.
Whyte popped for an energy drink.
                Ortiz has popped twice now.

No he isn't in the WBC clean boxing program .. he doesn't box for them and yes you can ask for additional tests rather than just random pre fight as part of the contract as is common.
I think Whyte started the drug testing thing but a lot of knowledgeable fans ignore it because most know Joshua already is enrolled on the program. But Whyte is doing it as more of an excuse than anything else.

What was laughable were the fans picking it up and trying to use it as a weapon to attack Joshua, when in the past Whyte and Fury have been ban for failing a test.

They would rather insult fighters they don't like with pejorative nicknames and intentionally degrade their accomplishments, and abilities then have an honest and fair discussion. This of course puts fans of said fighters on the defensive and soon spirals into childish behavior.

So these knowledgeable fans behave immaturely in an effort to make other grown men on the internet 'feel bad' about boxers they are a fan of-covering up their knowledge of the sport.

                    nah, very few are

if you were wondering how knowledgeable fans are, bread just told you

why would you not believe him ?

you hear the most ridiculous stuff on this site

there always seems to be an idiot perception..... an underlying statement or situation that seems to be accepted by most, that is utter bollocks

some of those idiot perceptions require total abandonment of logic and common-sense..... and most seem to revolve around the more popular fighters

I don't blame bread for refusing to read that rubbish

ggg was NEVER 170 in the ring for any fight,he weighed 169.7 the morning of the jacobs fight which was only because he was required to be under 170 for 1st time, ggg fans choose to act as if he didn't rehydrate afterwards(which is rediculous) & as if its in any way shape or form a benefit for a fighter to rehydrate an extreme amount as theyve claimed Jacobs did despite him looking no more than 180 vs ggg,he even said he weighed 178(which makes perfect sense to how he looked & fought),its ludicrous to think ggg weighed the absolute limit the morning of the jacobs fight yet somehow didn't rehydrate at least 5 lbs against a guy him/his fans still cry weight bullied him.

As i've said for yrs we need to make a ggg rule in boxing where a fighter can only rehydrate to what ggg does,as according to his stans its ok to rehydrate 15 lbs like ggg,yet its weight cheating if his opponent out rehydrates him

A fighters height & reach are directly attributable to their true weight class, regardless if them/stans pick & choose who to apply it to. ggg is 5'11" & far taller than tiny 5'7" Canelo(whos same height as loma ffs) & has never even in the olympics gone below 160 yet we're supposed to believe Canelos the weight bully. lmfao

A fighter intentionally can choose to rehydrate less than opponent but still be naturally bigger, rehydration is all about whether a fighter goes for power or speed
