LOS ANGELES Alberto Machado still hasn't received a reasonable explanation.
It's been 9 months since the WBA crowned Gervonta Davis its "super" world super featherweight champion. Machado doesn't know to this day why he was in effect demoted after winning what he thought was the WBA's "super" 130-pound championship when he came back to knock out Jezreel Corrales in October 2017.

It's a joke. I'm not convinced Machado aint better than Tank! Why are they hiding Tank from this dude if Tank is who they say he is? Let's see that fight that's an interesting fight! If Tank is going to keep hiding from Loma, the WBA at least needs to deliver fights like this.

The fact that Davis is a paper champion is sad. Davis never beat Machado to become the Champion.

Same thing happened years ago with Sergio Martinez and Chavez jr
