When a fighter is never going to be Elite, but you can't help but be a fan?

    I'll start.

    Sakio Bika
    Arturo Gatti
    Daniel Ponce De Leon
    David Price

Also, debatable on whether he was Elite or not:

    Danny Williams

What does your list look like?

I’ve got a list at home of my favourite fighter in each division. Major difference from who I believe is the best in each division.

        James "The Mandingo Warrior" Kirkland
        Mike "Mile High" Alvarado
        Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios

Imagine Kirkland in his prime(w/ Ann Wolfe) vs Hurd.

He’s one of my favourite fighters

He doesn’t possess 1 attribute that would be considered elite except balls and heart although I think his inside game and overall skill set is underrated

he’s been able to make good $ and have a good career in the sport and be considered a overachiever with his skill set

Won a strap , landed a PPV against PAC , fought some of the best WWs of his era , Had a fan friendly wicked trilogy with Alvarado which were f.ucking wars and got some Ws against fighters you’d think he’d lose to.

Not bad for a fighter everyone calls a punching bag

I’m also a fan of Rosado , Vanes , Josesito Lopez, Benavidez Jr probably a couple more names if I thought about it

Sometimes you gotta cheer for the underdogs

                Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam
Ted Cheeseman (I got a library of Cheese related puns)
                Tony Bellew
                Avtandil Khurtsidze
Sergei Khomitski (or however they're transliterating it these days)
                Darnell 'Deezol' Boone
Josh Warrington's a grower too, though he's already overachieved in my book, which is what made me a fan

                and maybe

Maurice Hooker - massive fan and he's good, but too early to say elite or no. I think he gets smashed by Taylor and Prograis, but I like him no less for it.

Damn, man... that's just the first few that spring to mind, but the list is endless. There's a ****-ton of fighters I really like who ain't never gonna go down in the annals.
