There are some Super Fights for CANELO at 168 pounds.

I would like to see CANELO fight & beat Callum Smith & Caleb Plant at 168 pounds.

It was impressive the way CANELO looked at Super Middleweight. The CANELO that showed up against Rocky Fielding beats both Smith & Plant IMO.
Being honest we all knew he was gonna beat him. I’m not even a canelo fan and knew that. He played with him long enough for everyone who attended sets could get warm.

What’s more funny is that this thread isn’t about Regular or Interim belts. It’s about posters not comprehending that Canelo has held a Non World strap at 168 for less than 40 days all while the article stated that Mayweather held a Super Strap for 2 years in the same situation. When Mayweather had belts in two divisions for 2 years was there uproar in the scene? As far as I know there weren’t articles from Dan Rafael crying as to when Floyd would fight Lara. Regardless of Lara or Thurman begging for their Super title opportunities with Floyd, who on this forum was complaining about Floyd having belts in two separate divisions while he didn’t defend at 154? Meanwhile all these posts don’t comprehend the context, they’re complaining about a boxer who just won a Regulr belt for 40 days. Lol. What’s to complain about.

Somehow readers of this article/thread didn’t even realize that there would be less complaints or less importance since Canelo has a Regular while Mayweather had the actual “Super” belts.

In other words, had there not been any rumors of Canelo vacating or this “new order” by the WBA which seems to be a tabloid or Floyd smear campaign, means that posters would’ve not even thought to complain.

Look at the posts, have any posters been complaining that Canelo shouldn’t have a 168 Regular belt? The 168 Regular belt is trash anyways.

                Oh my God!
Again, what has the boxing world come to!
Jacobs NEEDS to win this fight just to bring order to all this nonsense!

Just equates to sanctioning fees. They can care less if it’s some poor Asian kid from Thailand or Croatia that holds two belts, if the WBA can pimp you for money, they’re gonna do it. As much as I dislike Canelo, it’s not his fault he’s getting preferential treatment.

Not a big deal. The "Regular" Belt doesn't mean much, and is kind of a joke imo. Championship belts in boxing these days are so watered down it is embarrassing. We go from 8 weight classes to 17, but still fight catch weights. I lost track how many belts there are in the different ABC's.

Not every WBA regular champ is a disgrace. For example, Alberto Machado who holds the WBA regular belt @ 130 lbs beat the recognize WBA super champion at the time in Jeezrell Corrales, yet the ratchet WBA instead recognizes Tank Davis as the super champ @ 130 even though he fought a 126 lbs in Cuellar for the belt. Avery one knows in order to be the man, you have to beat the man which is what Machado did against Corrales.
