Kovalev needs to focus on unifying.
What if Hearn tries to lure Kovalev to sign with DAZN?...

Zurdo is number one at 168. You beat an injured groves who has retired. You are not fooling anyone.

Bivol signs deal with Matchroom, fights Smith on DAZN in March

Dmitry Bivol and World of Boxing have signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing USA and the Russian will defend his WBA World Light-Heavyweight title against Joe Smith Jr live on DAZN in the US and on Sky Sports in the UK in March.

I don't think it's asking for a fight they won't have. It's the same old story though they want a money fight against a big name opponent. Bivol is high risk low reward fight as he's a virtual unknown in the UK. Kovalev krushed Cleverly and has been around the top years longer

Callum Smith should leave Matchroom/Sky IMO. He has far better options domestically and internationally at PBC/ITV.

If Smith could have what he wants, he would be UNIFYING with Zurdo Ramirez @ 168, but he can't because Zurdo is with TR and ESPN! If Smith wants to challenge for a title at 175, Bivol is right there @ MatchRoom!

Zurdo ain’t really beat nobody, who’s his best win Abraham? Hart?
Smith’s win over Groves overrides that but none of these champs at 168 have solid resumes tbh.

This is just typical Joe Gallagher. He talks about fights that aren’t realistically going to happen to try and keep his fighters relevant.
He done exact same he started talking about Andre Ward coming back to fight Smith. Nonsense...

TBRB, for instance, has #1 Callum Smith, #2 Zurdo... The Ring has the same... ESPN has Zurdo at #1, #2 Smith...

Kovalev (or rather Duva) already has contractual obligations with Top Rank.

good fight but I think zurdo has more chance of getting the fight as both him and kovalev are currently with espn
