Every sport has its championship game or games. Baseball has the World Series, Hockey has the Stanley Cup finals, Basketball has the NBA finals, and so on, but boxing is one of the few sports which can have several "Super Bowls" during the year. So, 2019 is already shaping up with some great contests that can earn the title "Super Bowl of Boxing."

Yes that's why I love boxing so much. You don't have to wait a full year for a championship game. There are multiple title fights per year!!

      Couldn't agree more!

Still have no idea what the hype about Mikey fighting Errol is...Mikey is climbing 2 weight classes to fight a JMW. It's a courageous fight for Mikey and a cowardly fight for Errol.

Canelo and Danny will put on a fight!

Tyson and Deontay will be fun

We might even get to see Manny Keith which woul essentially be Keith getting humbled like a little pup. Can't wait!!

I see this as a 50-50 fight between canelo and jacobs, but triple g should have won both fights with canelo and he beat jacobs up 8 out of 12 rounds.

Claressa and cristian is going to be a great fight I cant wait.

It’s not two weight classes!! I’m sick of people saying that, he won the junior welterweight 140lb title.

Mikeys last fight took place at LW - 135 - and he made weight. In 39 fights hes fought twice at 140...that doesn't make him a bonafide JWW.

Here are his two fights at JWW against Lipinets and Broner. You can tell Mikey has GROWN into JWW because his body is so chiseled and he clearly struggled to make weight:

            Errol is 5'9 and 1/2 with a 72" reach

            Mikey is 5'6" and a 68" reach

Errol has only ever fought at WW and is clearly a LARGE WW

I'm sick of little dick lapping faggots, like yourself, who try to big Mikey up so you can go balls deep on Errol when he bludgeons a MUCH SMALLER opponent. Literally zero credit from me and zero chance I watch the fight

Little cucks like yourself need to stay in MMA or on the sideline cause yall are too ****** to comment on ANYTHING

And this is why as a fan of both fighters I don’t want to see this. Spence will get no credit for the win and rightfully so. If this was a fight you want me to take serious, have Garcia fight a tune up or two at 147.

Yea but most title fights are trash or just not "Super Bowl" caliber. Sometimes boxing is good & we get multiple "Super Bowl" fights a year, but sometimes its not & we don't get a "Super Bowl" fight at all.

And if you are judging a Super Bowl fight as being top two in a division we cannot see that for years in divisions that matter to fans.

I'd prefer it if boxing had a structure more like the average pro sport where the best fight the best yearly. I was hoping the WBSS was going to be that but the news with them as of late isn't looking hopeful for their long term success.

                  Agree whole-heartedly.

The Sport of Boxing is the best. The organization of Boxing: fractured sanctioning bodies, numerous promoters who bend the rules to seek out what is best for their given fighters instead of the sport, corruption that can be found without a ruling body.

In other professional sports their is an organization among the powers that be, that realizes they are in competition with other forms of entertainment. As such, they do what is best to help their sport compete and maximize its potential. In boxing, the powers that be are in competition with each other, to ensure that their organization and fighters are successful relative to others.

I hear what your saying about a certain amount of people who ONLY wanna big up mikey so they can glorify spences win over him,& whatever beef you have with this guy is between you guys. That being said, BUT

Don't assume just because someone like myself Rightfully expects this to be a very competitive, entertaining,& action packed fight that is far from a guaranteed Win for Spence, that it equates to all that other sht you mentioned.(If Spence wins it is far from a legacy fight because hes the slight favorite vs a smaller great fighter but depending on how he looks doing it,it should at least be used to see how good he is like any other fight/fighter)

In the history of boxing there has been some of the best most memorable fights between a great lil guy moving up & trying to outbox an also great bigger man,Mikey had destroyed Broner worst than Pac did before Pac,&yet Pac is being lauded for that mediocre win vs mikeys leftovers, hes looked impressive vs Everyone bigger put in front of him,& Spence is relatively inexperienced. So I think this will be a action packed entertaining fight where Spence has the possibility of being outboxed & maybe still winning. REMEMBER Power is the most overrated asset in boxing,1 that can ALWAYS be nullified if a more skillful opponent can make you gunshy with superior speed & timing.
