    This thread is fuccking halarious.

You know, a couple dudes won a Nobel Prize for thinking about what’s going on inside the head of people like jmrf4435. No kidding. These dudes put their last name’s to the phenomenon and called it the Dunning Kruger effect.

What they discovered is that ****** people’s ignorance is invisible to them. Unfortunately for the dumb people, it’s a double edged sword... Not only does their incomplete and misguided knowledge lead them to make mistakes but those exact same deficits also prevent them from recognizing when they are making mistakes and other people choosing more wisely.

When you are dead, you don’t know that your dead. It is difficult only for the others...

It is the same when you are ******.

I know this is a boxing forum and i’m off topic... but this fascinates me as it’s quite prevalent in society. In fact I think it’s an epidemic.

Sh.it , Seems weird to leave his team that he basically started with in the sport especially since he hasn’t lost or anything

Hope it works out for everyone involved

I just realized after reading the article Zurdos been champ for basically 3 years and his entire reign he hasn’t fought any decent fighters

Please don’t say Hart because he doesn’t have 1 win over a decent name either

If an accidental foul causes an injury severe enough for the referee to stop the bout after four ( 4) rounds have occurred, the bout will result in a TECHNICAL DECISION awarded to the boxer who is ahead on the score cards at the time the bout is stopped.

The other guy is ****** for his comment about ramirez, but abraham was in fact knocked out against stieglitz.

It wasnt an accidental foul that made abraham grew that thing on his eye and he couldnt/didnt want to continue inbetween rounds, thus retired on his stool.

An RTD is considered a knock out loss. A TD is a technical decision and goes to the scorecards.

Lomachenko has a lot of RTD wins for example, because his opponents quit inbetween rounds and those are also considered knockout wins.

After reading your post, you are surprisingly often wrong for calling yourself an exposer.

Your quoted rule doesnt even make sense in this particular situation.
Abraham stieglitz ended before the completion of the fourth round. If we fight had been stopped due to an accidental foul before the fourth, it would be ruled a no contest.

The technical decision is only applied 1) if the fight lasts longer than 4 rounds and 2) if it was ruled an accidental foul (swelling or cuts from legal punches are not considered accidental fouls).

I agree Zurdo is far from proven in the super middleweight division
I can’t see him pulling anything off at light heavyweight
And now with a move in weight , also a change of trainer
I really see this as a horrible move for his career
A new trainer will not be able to improve him right off the bat

Sergey Kovalev vs. Zurdo Ramirez! Make It Happen! Kov would probably earn a better payday vs. Zurdo, than fighting Beterbiev! Bob would make it big!

Kinda surprised that he left his team . Seen him sparring Gausha before the Hart fight and they looked like a legit Team . All with their Zurdo gear on .
Can't blame him if he ( or people around him ) realized he needed a change .

Abraham’s eye shut, he was unable to continue and ruled a Referee Technical Decision. It’s NOT a KO, TKO or anything else you want to assume. If you are the same BoxRec fan as I suspect, you’ll call it whatever you want such as retired and also consider it a KO, TKO or some fairytale ending. Fact of the matter is Abraham was not knocked out or his record would reflect a KO or TKO. BoxRec is hazardous to your casual bro, give it up...

Wondering how much of this was influenced by TR? Too much of these divorces happening lately and with TR fighters. Undefeated champions at that. Can't get more perfect than an undefeated world title holder! Hey "Zurdo" don't blame your team for TR's broken promises. I just see too much emphasis on knockouts and divorces in the game today. Hopefully all works out. Hate to see this!

I have no faith in Ramirez. He's wasted the last 3 years of his career, now he wants to move to 175? There's a greater than 50% chance that he moves up to 175, gets KTFO, and become a gatekeeper.
