That's not what Pavlik said in the video. He basically wrote off GGG's longevity because he's going to retire soon, that's why he focused on Canelo since 28 years old and taking damage from GGG is what would affect in 5 years.

One can't be naïve that GGG didn't take a lot of damage. Even his handlers said GGG will take time off. He needed time recoup those injuries. This is common sense.

GGG's jab is a power punch. How many times did Canelo's head get pounded back through both fights?

He got his brain scrambled in both fights. A LOT. in the hundreds of times.

      That is punishment.

No, it's what I said in my comment.

Kovalev and Eleider also popped each other's heads back with jabs MANY times in their series, far more than what we saw with GGG vs Alvarez. Canelo is stocky and has a stiff neck, his upper torso along with his clever way to pick jabs or roll with shots helps Canelo's resistance. Why people don't credit Canelo's resistance is beyond me. The haymakers that Canelo threw at Golovkin's head would seriously do harsh affects to GGG's brain, but as Pavlik said, GGG's is pretty much out the door so he is willing to take the punishment especially considering the pay.

A now prime 28 year old Canelo who looks better every fight, GGG is getting stopped imo, or will be outclassed again missing as in the first fight. Canelo figured out GGG. same way Marquez timed his haymaker when Pac pounced. When Pac returned against Rios he was still very insecure to leap that left in which he would always normally do before Marquez 4.

Canelo outclassed GGG in the first fight by losing 3-9, right.

wrong. GGG doubles Kovalev's landed jabs. quadruples Eleider's landed jabs. That is just one fight. Add 2 of them together

Canelo's head got pummelled by the jab.

GGG is also a harder jabber pound for pound than Kovalev.

              lets not forget.

Yet both little, old Floyd and little, powerless Lara visibly busted Canelo up and Gennady has...1 cut in 24 rounds (which was from a glancing punch) despite landing more punches in BOTH fights than Floyd or Lara did...

Gennady has "power punches" when he's fighting cab drivers like Vanes.

Very little power as evidenced by Canelo and Danny J. Hell you could argue Sergio Mora and Gennady have the same power based off their performances against Danny J.

And Canelo's brain was scrambled so bad he thoroughly walked down a larger opponent with a 5 inch height advantage

No he's not, or else he would've gone to 168 since 2011 when he said 154-168 was easy.

What fights are there for Bivol at 175 that he is even thinking of fighting at 168 for bigger fights?

                    You just proved my point.

Canelo rated GGG's punching power as the strongest he faced. Yet he was cut up by lesser punchers cus superficial damage means nothing.

Adonis Stevenson was knocked into a vegtable without any marks on him.

you make no sense. Kovalev cuts more weight than GGG to make 175.

Did he prove his power at cruiser for you to make the GGG to SMW parallel?
