    Not gonna happen.

He's ranked 11 with the WBC. Devin Haney is ranked higher. How is he gonna get a vacant title shot ranked that low?

Granted its a corrupt ABC Group so anything is plausible to go down, but its still a big jump to go from Mikey vacating or being stripped to a 11th ranked guy getting a shot at that newly loose belt.

I forgot about Matias - yeah, he is a monster, 12-0 with 12 KO's - that guy can fight! But he is a 140 pound fighter. Maybe he will be one of the stars in the deeply talented 140 division.

anything is possible in boxing. remember when cuellar who had never fought at 130 and was coming off a loss got a title shot vs tank davis? oh yeah and there was already a champ in the division that they just pretended didn't exist so they made tank vs cuellar a super champ. anything is possible

It's all talk. He'll do everything possible to avoid a fight with lomo even if that means moving up. Lomo will be unified champ after mikey vacates. See his interview post fight. He said he's not waiting for lomo and will move up. Really? You can't wait a couple months. Him and his dad will go on to the next tomato can at 140 lbs.

Eastern euro fanboys are already on the defensive and playing the victim when it comes to teofimo

                Pathetic

Sad, isn’t it ? U even got some on here pretending like Teofimo will assuredly duck Loma, but they’ve conveniently forgot how Loma ducked Mikey.

Lomo stayed at 135 lbs. Same weight class Mikey has a WBC title. Mikey moved up to 147 lbs. One guy stayed for a collision the other guy moved up to avoid a collision.

Its not just the E Europeans - I can’t believe the shade getting thrown at Lopez in this thread from any and all quarters. The kid is exciting, controversial, and backs up the trash-talk 101%. There’s gonna be some serious crow-munching going on in the coming year when it comes to Lopez.
