hahahaha! smart move on arum's part alvarez is not a draw and kovalev kicked his ass and took his belt right back. arum has options on kovalev now!!! arum has the light heavyweight division on lockdown.

If Alvarez isn't a Draw, then beating Kovalev again wouldn't boom Top Rank's image for a 7 fight deal for a guy heading 35 years of age. I guess for Arum, or Top Rank, Alvarez would've made some easy defenses until he would have no choice but to unify.

Haymon can make Alvarez vs Browne.

arums getting old. hes more senile than trump. 7 fights for alvarez hmmm the only thing i can think of is he wanted that belt so his plan would have been to offer alvarez bum fights for really short money or a chance to fight gvodzk for good money hoping he takes the gvodzk fight

See this is the sh^t I'm talking about when I'm saying these deals aren't "guaranteed" like mfers think. You lose & its over. You do some crazy sh^t & its over. If you quit drawing the fans & its over.

These promoters don't take risks like fans think they do. You eff up & your upside just took a downturn.

What a ****** move. Only got himself to blame. He had real leverage and negotiated a terrible deal, he must of been majorly confident of beating Kovalev. Such a bad move man...
