Pedraza's team knows their is good things that could come out of a Win over Lopez on a PPV Undercard, so it sounds like Pedraza's team is trying to save face, instead of admitting they are ducking.

Pedraza fought Loma and Tank who in my opinion are better than Lopez now, both Pedraza and Lopez would have a realistic chance of winning, if they wait the advantage goes to Lopez based on age.
Are you seriously entertaining this PPV card of Crawford/Khan by adding TR's hot prospect vs Pedraza? Yeah that'll entice people to order the fight. Come on dude. It's PPV worthy names that'll draw fans to watch the fight

Maybe top Rank got one more fight with Walter's on the contract to feed to Lopez instead lol.. bring him out the retirement home for the fight.

          Pedraza is a smart ducker

He know dam well, this kid has fast feet and hands with power. That is a nightmare for most veteran boxers and he knows dam well he would never be able to find this kid so of course down play what is in it to gain. Prdraza said dad I’m not interested he’s all wrong for us, dad says son that’s why I love you; I can always spot a good turkey!

At least Spence was a top ten guy so people were in fact avoiding him. And Thurman a couple years before that.

Look I'm a fan of Teofimo myself so I can't dog him too hard, but I'm not a delusional fan about where he's at & what he's done. He's beating guys he's been a -2000 favorite versus. His live opponents aren't even THAT live.

Do I wanna see Teofimo vs Pedraza? Sure. I think its a great test for Teofimon. But this fight makes ZERO business & career sense for Pedraza. Its a step down fight for him vs a legit threat for short money.

The bigger question is whats gained if Pedraza beats Lopez? I say lil to nothing.

Lopez just started fighting real dudes 2 damn months ago lol. Can't duck a guy as a ex-title holder who's barely got live bodies on his record ffs. Thats crazy sh^t.
In the sport of prizefighting Pedraza would take less money to fight someone else than fight Lopez in a showcase on Espn for more money. We all know why. It goes without saying Top Rank would offer him more money to fight Lopez. Everyone wants that fight next but Pedraza.

I have to agree w/ Pedraza's assessment - Teofimo does not add to his resume; however, I do think that Pedraza would take him to school and I would like to see the Teofimo hype quenched a little.

Pedraza's losses to Tank Davis and Loma are something no one should hold against him and I think he actually looked great against Loma, just not #1 P4P great.

Pedraza currently would beat Commey and the Ring Top 10 fighters except Loma and Mikey. I hope he can get some other big fights, you have to respect his heart after enduring that 11th round with Loma.

He seems to bring a painful beating.

If thats what he means by nothing.

I dont think he will get anywhere by fighting beltran, crolla because those are matches he is supppsed to win but someone like machado, lopez or haney he is back on top the risk is worth it.
