What does Lopez bring to the table, well as the article said it could be on the Crawford VS Kahn PPP, so a lot of EXPOSURE which is important, and a lot of fans in Britain a Country that likes Boxing will be watching their Countryman Kahn, and a chance to knock off the hot rising prospect.

Pedraza's team knows their is good things that could come out of a Win over Lopez on a PPV Undercard, so it sounds like Pedraza's team is trying to save face, instead of admitting they are ducking.

Pedraza fought Loma and Tank who in my opinion are better than Lopez now, both Pedraza and Lopez would have a realistic chance of winning, if they wait the advantage goes to Lopez based on age.

I can see why Pedrazza is mad. He is going from fighting for a LW title, to fighting to unify the LW title, to being positioned as a gatekeeper/name for Lopez to build his resume.

Any of you would be pissed as well.

Why would you want to waste your time and effort proving someone to yourself when there's nothing you get out of it that's going to help elevate your career? Pedraza's coach has a valid point and team Lopez knows they're only using Pedraza's name as a stepping ladder so if Lopez were to beat Pedraza in spectacular fashion then they're going to say he's ready for Loma and have all the Lopez fanatics saying he's going to destroy Loma

He’s in Spence territory in that no one wanted to fight Spence for a while or at least that’s how it was perceived. You’ve got to consider his age. He’s nit the Spence of today who got called out by a 35 pounder who to this day hasn’t exactly faced the top if the food chain.

Teofimo is what? 21 and trying to fight the top of his division.

Pedraza’s team are speaking like a bunch of scared losers...which is suiting considered his performances in his biggest fights.

What does he bring to the table? They’re coming off a fairly one sided loss and Teofimo is coming off a quality performance as a co headliner.

Get a grip. Beating him on a ppv card does more for him than anything else right now. Maybe Easter Jr or something on a ppv undercard is better, sure...but Lopez has a lot of eyes on him right now and if someone were to beat him, they can usurp him for that hype and exposure.

              It’s a duck.

Pedraza is on the edge of becoming a journeyman I think he should take the challenge and fight teofimo. That should be his redemption is fighting a young lion.

Beltran already got a fight lined up against Okada. From what Lopez has said, TR is looking to have him on the Crawford/Khan PPV card in April and are looking for a tougher test than Magdaleno which shouldn't have been considered a test or step up since Magdaleno was a shot fighter with zero punching power and too small so Beltran is off the table

What top ten contender in ANY division wants to fight a prospect. Its a net negative move. You win & you beat a guy who was in with his 3rd live body & first top ten guy.

There is nothing to be gained here unless Bob is gonna give him some sexy payday thats makes its worthwhile.

At least Spence was a top ten guy so people were in fact avoiding him. And Thurman a couple years before that.

Teofimo is what? 21 and trying to fight the top of his division.
Look I'm a fan of Teofimo myself so I can't dog him too hard, but I'm not a delusional fan about where he's at & what he's done. He's beating guys he's been a -2000 favorite versus. His live opponents aren't even THAT live.

Do I wanna see Teofimo vs Pedraza? Sure. I think its a great test for Teofimon. But this fight makes ZERO business & career sense for Pedraza. Its a step down fight for him vs a legit threat for short money.

What does he bring to the table? They’re coming off a fairly one sided loss and Teofimo is coming off a quality performance as a co headliner.
The bigger question is whats gained if Pedraza beats Lopez? I say lil to nothing.

Lopez just started fighting real dudes 2 damn months ago lol. Can't duck a guy as a ex-title holder who's barely got live bodies on his record ffs. Thats crazy sh^t.
