I didn’t like Ward’s pre-fight commentary and interviews, and watch the main event on mute. But if Ward was fair in his live commentary, props to him then.

Yeah during the fight his commentary has always been on point. When he is interviewed by reports he doesn't have the same obligation so he acts smug sometimes. Ward was all praises for Kovalev and how he fought the fight, which was good of him to say.

i didnt even see the pre fight stuff, but it sounds reasonable to be critical to me. considering where kovalevs career was going in. while he is certainly one of the best 175lbers of his time, you cant pretend certain flaws havent been exposed by now. significant ones at that. coming into the fight there were plenty of questions.

ward is a fair guy imo. especially after hearing froch's comments on groves retirement?

yeah he finished him just don't watch the fight and find out what really happened and after picking the judges in the first fight and we saw what happened there too

oh another joe calzaghe. and no its not. kovalev is better than ward and beat him in the closest thing that could be considered a completed fair fight(ward was able to cheat nonstop but kovalev still clearly won) but as we know wards promoter picked and paid the judges so obviously we got that shocking decision. 2nd fight was just shenanigans

i had the broadcast on mute but apprently ward admitted he lost the kovalev fight and the only reason they gave it to him is because he picked and paid the judges salaries. im starting to like him a little more.
