Do you think little loma can handle the counter punching ability combined with the speed and power of the bigger teofimo??

He better fight him sooner than later, because if he waits then the more likely teofimo takes the commie's soul

      This much hype for lopez?

      I don't see it

Fast hands, especially early but average feet

I suspect feet not fast enough to be elite

      And Lomas footwork is incredible

      Loma dominates this dude

Lopez doing the sweeping motion after the ko like he is a piece of trash was reprehensible. Doing it against a 20 to 1 underdog makes it worse.

Lopez is good but people need to slow down a bit with the hype. He stopped a guy that Terry Flanagan (who isn't a puncher) stopped in 2 rounds, and a fresher version at that.

I do think he might become a top fighter but let's see him fight a top 10 fighter first.

Magdaleno's corner shoulders the most fault here for not throwing in the towel. Grossly negligent of them in my view. Those last 2 bombs Lopez ended the fight on were borderline sickening because it looked like he was punching a corpse.

The ref could have, maybe should have already stopped it by that point as well.

Lopez's celebration was unquestionably distasteful, I wasn't into it. He is very young, so I expect he'll mature a bit more in the next several years regardless. Fortnite dancing is one thing, but last night's celebration was some pretty heelish stuff.

All that said, great night for him, big fights should be coming his way, definitely some big stuff to look forward to.

Lopez is definitely a talented fighter. Top Rank again with a great prospect. Talk of him and Loma is a little premature IMO. You cant say Loma sucks because of his resume then fawn Over Lopez beating Magdeleno. Loma was given a lot of **** for unifying with Pedraza and is catching heat for further unifying with Commey. Crolla is better than Magdeleno and Loma is getting heat because he’s the mandatory. Put all that into perspective.

Let Lopez develop. Maybe Beltran and then Pedraza and see where he’s at in 12 months. I think he’s a blue chip prospect but he’s still a prospect. Putting him in with the consensus p4p #1 wouldn’t end well for him and possibly hurt momentum.

Why is everyone so quick to anoint some dude like the next best thing in the world? Teofimo beat a C level fighters in Magdaleno, who was never good enough to beat anyone of notice, as a matter of fact, every time he step up, he lost convincingly, Magdaleno is not quick, has less than average IQ boxing skills, and has zero power in his punches. I say this much Lama embarrasses this kid to a clear UD.

Teofimos accuracy and overall boxing IQ are impressive for a 22 year old.

No one is sat right now most are talking about next year by that time Lopez would have picked up a belt and maybe another 4-5 fights.

By next year he’ll beat anyone at 135
