Comments Thread For: DeAndre Ware Gains Majority Nod Over Ronald Ellis

Ronald Ellis promised that his bout with DeAndre Ware would set the table for a Super Bowl weekend leading to his New England Patriots winning the big game. If Friday's main event on Showtime's ShoBox series is any indication, than Ellis' beloved Patriots are heading for their second straight Super Bowl loss.

It's a shame, Ellis probably would have one if not for his brittle right hand. He was also a little too frenetic with his herky jerky movement. His head snapped back at shots and his hair kinda made them look like they connected more than they did. Ware looked strong and relaxed but way too flat footed and pushed out alot of his punches. Two upsets of sorts tonight where the more hyped and skilled but flawed fighter lost to the more limited but consistent and aggressive opponent. Fights we're solid even if they didn't produce much drama. Good enough for a cold Friday night.
