May and June are different months.

Personally I would have preferred the Whyte fight, I think Miller's style is ready-made for Joshua - at least we already know that Whyte can hurt Joshua - Miller on the other hand doesn't have power that matches his frame. That said it's not like there's a big difference either way, Joshua's just doing the best he can with what's available so I can't really criticise him for it. I think it'll be a good test of whether Miller is actually a top level fighter or not, even if he loses he can elevate his stock by putting up a good fight.

I would go further than this. Whyte would be an underdog, but with his trusty left hook and newly improved fitness he would have a chance to make Joshua stumble and keep things honest and disciplined, I would just about buy the PPV.

Maybe I DKSAB but whenever I watch Miller on youtube, I think he has next to no chance at all, he looks slow and lacking in defensive skills or punching power and the will be type of opponent who Joshua fought in his early carreer that lacked the threat to keep Joshua from freely punching them. With those early opponents Joshua didn't have to watch his guard, just unload the shots - he has enough power to stop anyone. I won't buy the PPV for this I can't see an exciting contest developing, just a one way punching bag match to make Joshua look good in the US of A.

Let's put Ortiz vs Pulev or Kownacki on the undercard. The winner can fight Joshua in the fall while the important heavyweights of the division are finishing their trilogy.

If Miller can take AJs power, avoid clean shots and keep the pressure on it's a very interesting fight.

2019 is a good year to be a NYC boxing fan.

Barclays and MSG getting all the big fights.

Joshua's most exciting viable option IMO. Kudos to him. Wish I could be there live.
