Really do not know how the dude even took Wilder to the distance in the first bout. Stirven should retire, get a cab and be driving Don King around

The other thing is that Arreola sucks major ass. I wouldn’t put much store by beating Arreola at all.
Arreola didn’t suck. At his best a top 20 HW. His punch me in the face defence & lack of discipline were his problems. He was in some good scraps & he beat all the C level journeymen. He was simply nothing more that a fringe contender who wasn’t good enough to get in the top 10.

the ring somehow had him at #9 when he fought stirverne. alright that was dubious but possible. somehow then stirverne vaults up to #2 on the back of 2 wins over hte #9 guy? how in the world...he got that "i have a belt" bump up like 7 spots that he didn't deserve

                You lost fair & square.
                Man up & admit it.
Regardless, I don't think 7 fights is enough for Joyce to just go at the top dogs yet.
                We shall see.
That's why he's going after Stiverne first. If he beats him and impressively, it should be someone in the the top ten next and then a world title fight if possible.

When Vitali retired the WBC wanted an American heavyweight champ, it was obvious by who was getting the title shots. They tried repeatedly with Areolla and when he didn't stick they went with Wilder who they have protected ever since
