The last 3 rounds did remind me of Oscar for sure!

For me this was one of those situations where even though you win you ultimately lost...Spinks is not the fighter people have advertised...he reminds me of Paul Spadafora in a lot of ways...

He is not slick, he is not overly dificult to hit and he cant fight 12 rounds(he proves this fight after fight)...this fight could have gone either way but regardless of the outcome Corey Spinks is still a piece of ****...its just that ****ing simple.

    Sorry Corey.

Spinks is always hit and run. Run is part of his plan and he always runs late in the match. I never liked it.

I like spinks. At time he is just brillant. He is slick, quick and boxes with smarts early on. Then he starts running too much after he wins a lot of rounds.

I'm with you, Scap. I'll never be a Spinks fan because he runs every fight, especially late. That was absolutely sickening the way he ended the Mayorga fight. It was a close fight and he acted like he was up by 4 points. Then he slips about FIVE times in that round, two of which should have been called knockdowns because Mayorga touched him before he went down, even if they weren't hard shots. The fact of the matter is Spinks threw himself down to avoid being KO'ed by Mayorga and that's disgraceful. Mayorga was robbed that night when the referee took points from him and didn't score his knockdowns.

In the first Judah fight, I was impressed by Spinks, who stood and fought with Judah, which ultimately resulted in him getting knocked down. I had Judah winning that one 114-112. I think Lederman had it even, but I remember him giving Spinks the first four rounds, so F that.

He tired late in the 2nd Judah fight as well, but that had more to do with Judah nailing him with punches from the 6th round on. Last night with Karmazin, Spinks looked done for the last three rounds. Maybe like DLT says he should stop that dancing bull**** on his way in.

Congratulations to Spinks any way, but he belongs on a track team, not in boxing.

The front page of ESPN.com's boxing session now has a similar comparison between Karmazin-Spinks and De La Hoya-Trinidad
