I like Jacobs bit he takes the L here. But he gets a career payday and will make more $$$ here on out. Good for him.

This really is a good fight but Jacobs' big moment to shine was against GGG and he JUST came up short. This is redemption but I think he has lost a step and Canelo is getting better and better. Canelo UD12.

On the back foot and backing up from power shots are not the same thing. Clearly, it was Golovkin's strategy in the 2nd fight to make the smaller man advance( and pay the price for doing so). I agree that Canelo did have a couple of moments where he made Golovkin "step" back and reset himself.... but it was not the same as when Jacobs cracked Golovkin so hard that he was "pushed" backward and seemingly confused, momentarily.

It’s hhard to base things on how they backed GGG up. In terms of the damage inflicted, it’d have to go with Canelo. First off the facial marks, GGG’s face was a bruised mess from constant hard shots. Jacobs landed some hard headshots but a fewer and never had GGG in trouble. Secondly body shots. Canelo outlanded Jacobs to the body and noticeably slowed down GGG. I Don’t buy that he got old, those body shots slowed him. So overall I do not think Jacobs did more vs GGG.

GGG sure didn't have the benefit of the doubt. I think the money fighter always has the benefit of the doubt, it's just that it's usually the champ that is the money fighter. Not with canelo, at least in Vegas. Not with Hagler against Leonard.

GGG TOTALLY had the benefit of the doubt in the Jacobs fight. That’s just how judging is always going to work and people should lay off the conspiracy theory

Just don’t like the way Jacobs has looked in his last couple of fights
Seems to have slowed down and gotten a little to comfortable since his match against GGG
Now on the other hand I find Canelo has looked and performed well
Canelo will win this and might be the first to ko Jacobs since Pirog did it awhile ago
