That is this Saturday? Man some of these fights always sneak up on me. The promotions they do for most of these fights is bad imo. Maybe it's just that I pay attention to the big fights and these middle-tier ones I don't follow, but it seems like I always think these fights are like 2 months away. When they have stories for these fights I think they should stress the fight date.

But I thought Alvarez was a problem for Kov from round 1. I know the judges had it pretty strong for Kov but I could tell he was giving Kov problems. Alvarez looks a lot stronger than his pedestrian KO percentage would indicate.

If Kov can come back and win this fight I think this would be one of his top victories. I just can't see him KOing Alvarez early, I think it will be some back and forth boxing. Then I think Kov could gas again and could be his own worst enemy mentally and get caught again.

If he beats Alvarez it will take one hell of an effort and performance, I don't know if he has it left in him.

I would argue he wasn’t robbed in ward/Kovalev 1. Kovalev May have won but it was very close. It was controversial and close fight, but it was not a robbery.

The second fight showed that Ward was just a little better.
