Smith and Inoue were solid opponents. Not great but not a short/easy night for anyone in the division. Cook was only the weak defence.

It's nothing different. If anybody's heard or watched Munguia fight before his first title, knows he's boxed his whole career (until last year) in Mexico against tomato cans. Munguia is an entertaining fighter, but this will be a subtle showcase fight catered to the mexican fanbase. It'll be like watching him all over on Box Azteca. Only difference this time it's DAZN with a moderate production to work with.

Munguia looks like he has potential to be a top fighter but he needs a good trainer or a compatible trainer and fast.

Love that he's staying active. Sad that feather-fisted clubfighter Dennis Hogan, who beat a British walkover to get his #1 ranking, is Munguia's mandatory. Hopefully Jamie builds up to a big fight by the end of 2019, early 2020

Teixeira fighting style will be tricky for Munguia.

He can outbox Munguia just like he did to Gallimore.

He is borrring. I think he has very low Boxing IQ and i dont see him improving much.

There are many Mexican fighters with potential but he isnt one of them. He just caught the right wave and grabbed a title from a midget but he is a beating waiting to happen.
