Also just checked the current champs, how the fucc is Porter a champ?
I agree with you that Thurman fighting either Crawford or Spence is a more meaningful fight. I think though that a Thurman, Pacquaio fight is a bigger money fight with fewer risks for Thurman. If Thurman is looking to cash out then he will choose Pacquaio. If he loses to Pacquaio he can retire rich. If he wins (which I don't think will happen) then he is rich and still can fight Spence or Crawford for another good payday.

My assessment exactly. First fight is against Pacquaio. Win or lose it is his biggest check and carries the least risk of physical damage. Then (depending on performance) on to either Spence or Crawford.

If Thurman had fought with jessie vargas for his first fight back, he'd have lost his belt. good thing he avoided him.

Can't put down Lopez though. Only that he should've been a little more patient in the 7th and pick his shots. To finish "bum-time ". IMO, bum-time needs to cut out the 3rd person he always talking about and just fight. He is not the same after 2 years and IS gonna get knocked out next fight!

In my opinion, Jesse Vargas, Joseito Lopez, Andre Berto, Chris Algieri, Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, Adrian Broner, Luis Collazo, Sammy Vargas, Brandon Rios, Jeff Horn, are all about the same level - Gatekeepers.

Pacquiao and Mikey Garcia are between a gate keeper and world class at welter.

World class are Thurman, D. Garcia, Porter

            Elite are Spence and Crawford

Thurman did little strength training and sparing in preparation for this fight, due to an interest in preserving the hand and elbow. A large portion of Thurmans camp was weight loss and conditioning. Arum knows this, and I suspect hopes Pac takes a Thurman fight and loses. Lopez was massive in the ring, he looked damn near super middleweight. Where'd this theory that Lopez has no power come from? Does he have knock out power? No, but knock out power and punching power are two different things. Ask yourself how many fighters broke someones jaw in the ring. Yeah it doesn't happen often, but Lopez broke Otiz' jaw. Add to the fact that with out fighting for two years, and minimal sparring (head gear), Thurman has not taken a full on power punch in a long time. Questioning someones chin who hasn't been knocked down as a professional, is pretty funny.

Pac's really gonna have to work on cutting off the ring for this one.

One Time's going to circle the ring twice as much as he did against Josesito.

This one could go either way at this point in Pac-Man s career.
He’s still there but not where he was against the top boys.
I think both Garcia’s, Thurman, porter and Spence could all beat him but not by ko and Pac-Man would make them ALL fight for it.

All these people on back on Pacquiao's **** now because he beat bum ass Broner??? lol, if Pacquiao fights Thurman he loses badly. Since Soto Karass and Collazo were able to hurt Thurman then I guess Porter and Garcia should have beaten him easily right? oh wait...
