I agree with that, we usually have UK commentary over here but sometimes we get the US guys and Paulie, Al and Farhood are definitely the best. They provide good analysis of what’s going on in the ring instead of just cheerleading. Not the biggest Paulie fan but his commentary is first class.
Top Rank Card: Alvarez vs Kovalev

SHO announcing crew is heads and shoulders above any other in boxing right now. FOX/DAZN have guys that have no business commentating, HBO was kind of a mess towards the latter part, SKY is a complete joke but I don't mind the BT Sports crew with Woodhall and the crew. They are good IMO.Comment

I think TR wanting to promote their own fighter in Valdez and a future Loma opponent in Commey/Chaniev is a factor as well.I guess the strategy is to put him and Lopez on the app because Kov is a big name and Lopez just had a highlight reel KO.
I'm thinking do it the other way-app for the prelims and the main and semi main on ESPN.
Guess that's why I make the little bucks and post rather than the big bucks as an ESPN honcho lol.Comment

I'm basing that on how Kovalev was in control of the fight before getting clipped hard and the fact that he has one punch power and had hurt Alvarez a couple times. We'll see.
If Alvarez stops him again, I wouldn't be surprised in the least.Comment

See, I don't think he had Alvarez THAT hurt and Alvarez will only gain more confidence from the first fight. And I also didn't see Kovalev in full control as others. Maybe rounds wise he was up by a solid score, but he was getting touched up and the fight was still competitive. Alvarez though is beatable. He's kind of inconsistent and we have seen him have some sub-par performances. But right now he is riding high on KOing Kovalev the first time and he is probably at the peak of his prowess. Kovalev is up against it here.Comment
