    NO He does not he knows full well Yarde will be exposed, He cannot beat either one even a shot Kovalev he has not fought a decent fighter in his whole career then gets a title shot similar to Liam Smith very sad

      Ah, so you're saying Warren's protecting his investment long enough to cash out on him in a failed title shot?
      Probably about right, but it's a shame - given the right coaching and progression route from the start, Yarde could have been a lot more than an emergency cash-out meal ticket.

          Yes but it does not make sense businesswise.

          if he is just a ticket seller get him the right fights because a bit like Mark Prince and others get world title shot and get knocked out and never seen again.

            Just bumping up this thread. Anyone thinks that Yarde will actually step up this year? Or do you think, that after this performance of Kovalev, he will keep fighting nohopers in the UK instead?
