Froch comes across as a nasty bitter old man who no one will remember in 3 years.

Oh and Froch’s partner Rachel is getting blacked raw by Joshua on a daily basis.

Putting Froch in to prospective is that although he was good he wasn't even the best in his own division. Froch talks like he was better than he actually was.... maybe if he was better he wouldn't talk like he does.

I will miss Groves. People forget too quickly, but at one time he was arguably the best super middle going and should really hold a win over Froch. He also helped instigate two of the biggest fights in the divisions history as well as the first mega, modern day, Wembley boxing event.

Just 30, hopefully has his money and his faculties. Good on him.

It means the profile of the sport in Britain. Like if a fight fight or a fighter gets a lot of attention from the non hardcore audience, it’s good for British boxing. Like the popularity of boxing basically.

Well I don't have that boring ass fight from 7 years ago memorized.

How did you score it? Which rounds did you give to Froch?

You do know two of the judges had it 7-5? In the US, not the UK.

I have no real interest in watching that one again bur iirc Ward gave away a few rounds towards the of the fight, and in typical Ward fashion against anyone good, there were a lot of rounds where there was not much good action at all either way.

Some people seem to love to give Ward every close round and I think most close rounds should alternate. In any event Ward is not a schooling type of fighter anyway. He is a tough smart gritty guy, but not really the super slick type like Floyd or Loma or Usyk.

I read some of Groves's parting words earlier today, aimed at DeGale. He went all Froch.

He said he's happy to miss out the pay day as it means DeGale will miss out on it too. He said DeGale wanted that fight so hopefully now he's flat and demoralized in the build up to Eubank.

There's some fake rivalries out there in boxing, but British SMWs do tend to genuinely hate each other more often than not
