GGG has no belts, that doesnt mean he has no leverage. He's got name and reputation. That is his leverage. And with that he will get more viewers than Canelo fighting Jacobs. So if Canelo's purse depends on the numbers DAZN gets, then GGG is his best bet. Problem is, Canelo has no confidence in beating CONVINXINGLY GGG afrer 2 fights. He needs to summon his best ally against GGG- GGG's age. And that takes time. There is a reason Canelo avoided GGG 3 years ago. DLH knows what he is doing, he learned his lesson when he pitted Canelo against Floyd. Timing is everything. Plus PEDs. And 118-110. Good bonus to Canelo's talent (no sarcasm intended, he is undoubtedly very talented).

Maybe GGG should retire. He let the 3rd canelo fight slide by taking his sweet time(probably not interested) and doesn't seem interested in fighting the top guys. A canelo fight again would be boring if it plays out the same way. I won't be surprise if GGG is done with boxing. His wife seem to want him to retire as well. About time he calls it quits since he has nothing left to show. Let the other top guys fight it out and stop shortchanging charlo. Charlo is waiting for his opportunity, and GGG as well as canelo don't seem to want that fight.

most people thought he lost both fights and you dont see why he would want to avoid another fight and all that criticism? he didnt make an honest effort to fight ggg and cut off negotiations and signed to fight someone else in 4 days time.

I’m pretty sure everyone here agrees with Hoya. Canelo beat the living hell out of grovel in the last fight Mexican style and really showed the fans he is the better fighter and the alpha. If they fight again there is no way golickin goes the distance unless he goes complete tony Harrison survival mode. Canelo already beat golickin and is actually looking for better competition by fighting the better fighter Daniel Jacobs. Maybe golickin can rematch vanes in the meantime

well his yelling worked because ggg won the last 4 rounds so whats your point? i had canelo winning 5-3 after 8. so if it was an 8 rounder yes he would have won but it was 12 rounds. and you obviously struggle with tenses because losing and lost are very very different things. the rest is just your very subjective read of the fight. someone predicting a ko and then not getting it doesnt mean they lost. that happens almost every single fight.he never said he didnt think ggg won stop lying. he said he didnt do enough to win convincingly. thats very very different. also he lives in the real world where he knows golden boy picked the judges so of course hes going to factor that into his analysis into why ggg didnt get the decision. he didnt do enough to win convincingly given the weighted circumstances that were against him and you spin that into he said ggg lost? show me a clip where he said canelo won. wait i dont care what he thinks so nevermind.

I gave Canelo round 9. Canelo was cracking those ribs and stung the sht out of ggg with a left hook. And landing some beautiful combos. Hooks to the body were there atb will all round round long.
