Uh hmm, here's the so called "bum" Lopez beating the crap out of Maidana. I guess Lopez has a habit of hurting good fighters and fooking them up.

        Ya'll musta forgot https://********/aVZODLfIZJc?t=780

Lopez is far from a bum and to face him after two years layoff is no walk in the park.

That left hook was nice by ThurmAn.

I agree. I don't think it was the lng time off because Thurman looked sharp in the early rounds. Lopez isn't a big puncher but Thurman's chin is not that good. He was not good at getting out of trouble either. If GGG, Canelo, Spence or Crawford had that much trouble with a Lopez level fighter they would get trashed and no longer be considered among the best. They are all too good and too rugged to let that happen. Thurman has been hurt before by average punchers. He is fragile for a high level boxer and is not hard to hurt to the body or the chin. He is not good at getting out of trouble when he does get hurt. Lopez isn't a fast handed accurate punching finisher but Thurman stayed hurt the entire round. When he slugs it out with Crawford or Spence I am sure he gets KOed. Manny might beat him too. If Pacquiao had him in the kind of trouble he was in against Lopez Pacquiao would have finished him.

And yet Maidana gave Mayweather hell. Any elite fighter can run into problems with a lesser fighter than himself. It happens to damn near every fighter. Castillo/ Mayweather, Horn/ Pacquiao and on and on. Elite fighters have difficulties. Most people seem to not realize that every fighter can be hurt and beat. The belief that some fighters are untouchable (can't be hurt or beat) and others are absolute bums is a foolish illusion.
