Tainted Mexican beef can infect you with some roids. So yes it is a plausible excuse, thats why literally anybody who gets caught on is uses that excuse. If it wasnt plausible nobody would use it.

I just believe him when he says it was accidental and he wasn't trying to seek some unfair advantage. And I don't think he deserves to be lumped in with the likes of Big Baby Miller for whom there really is no excuse.
Nor is there any real way of even making a guess based on a balance of probabili****** without far more thorough research on both the extent of the contamination problem and the extent of Clenbuterol abuse among boxers in Mexico.
I'm one of those dude's whos quite happy leaving Schrödinger's cat in it's box until further information comes to light if it ever does. My interest now is not Canelo, but how the wider issue should be dealt with moving forward in a way that minimises the risk to all fighters who could be effected.
