Kownacki lowkey is sneaking into the conversation with the tip top guys. Think 3 of his last 4 opponents have been in title fights (Martin was even a title holder, but I think most of us see his reign as a fluke). Don't know what his ratings situation is, but if he found himself in a fight with a title holder or top 5 guy this year it wouldn't be surprising.

In his last fight he had a war with Charles Martin, and we all know about Martin's level.

Kownacki needs a win against a big name to force himself into the conversation, he looks too one-paced if you ask me but he's not an easy night for anyone.

What worked against Washington, take one to give two, would be a disaster against Wilder. Not saying I don't want to see the fight or that I'm writing off Kownacki's chances of winning but walking through fire might not be a good way.
