Which is actually kind of surprising to me because his style, and his low ring IQ have had him taking some shots over the years.

    It's a good fight imo.
Low ring iq? What are you on ?

looks like an old and past prime pac is favored to win against a top young and prime welterweight which is crazy to think.

Manny has gotten by on speed, volume punching, stamina, and athletic ability.

None of which require particularly high ring IQ.

The Pac-Man moniker has always been both a compliment, and a diss, because it can be seen as both ways: he is relentless, and eats his opponents like pac-man, sure, but he is also simple minded and binary as a fighter, like pac-man was.

There is a reason most of us knew years ago, that Floyd would body Manny at any time, because the ring IQ gap was so huge and because Floyd isn't one dimensional like Manny is.

But during the actual fight it was floyd who has lesser boxing IQ than pac. It was pac who is coming forward doing the counter punching while floyd is doing all the running and hugging which is very smart for floyd in order not to get ktfo.

I'm not even going to debate this ridiculous comment. You don't accomplish what Manny has accomplished when you have a low ring iq. Get a grip and learn something about this sport.

Pacquiao’s head movement might trouble Thurman, but Pacquiaos gonna have to trap Thurman and get inside the long arms.

I think part of the reason why Josesito was able to touch Thurman so well, is because Josesito is unpredictable and unskilled with his attacks. It threw Thurman off his game a little. Manny should try to do the same, the only problem is Manny takes his time too much these days. He has to go for it, but Thurman’s wheels are gonna be going. Idk if Manny can chase all night.

It will be telling how Thurman reacts to getting hit flush. If Thurman can handle his power and speed, then it's going to be a long night for Manny.

Pac out punches and out points the slower Thurman.

i think this is 100% dead wrong... pac doesnt have a low ring iq lol.. u cant accomplish 1/4 of what he has without having a great boxing MIND to go along with the physical abilities

i think some people get confused , a non defensive fighter doesnt mean they have a low ring iq..

take GGG for example, hes a stalker seek n destroy fighter, whos looking to cut off the ring and hurt you with big shots.. hes willing to risk getting clipped in order to put himself in punching range. hes always thinking, shifting.. while sometimes getting hit back. that doesnt mean he has no ring smarts
