Calm Down, Pac Fan

Mikey landed more punches but Broner was more stationary and let his hands go and actually hurt Mikey at some point in the fight. Vs Manny he shelled up and wouldnt trade.
Won't say Manny beat him better than Mikey but Broner fought a different fight and came back strong in the later roundsComment

Looked trash winning ten rounds, scoring two knockdowns against a guy you picked to beat him. Lol.
You have no shame.Last edited by chrisJS; 01-27-2019, 02:10 PM.Comment

More fake news. Do you ever get sick of being wrong and lying?
Barclays Center lost out on the first Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury fight. It won’t happen again. Multiple sources have informed BoxingScene.com that a deal to bring the immediate heavyweight championship rematch between Wilder and Fury to the Brooklyn venue is nearing completion. MGM Grand Garden Arena is the other site under consideration among organizers of that Showtime Pay-Per-View event, but a deal to announce Barclays Center as the venue for Wilder-Fury II is expected within the next couple weeks.
Whoever your "source" is he/she is lying to you and making you embarrass yourself even further than you already do every time you post.Comment

This is what happens when you are right so often folks get absolutely rhapsodic if you even appear incorrect on something.
Yes, a fight looks to be coming off between Fury and Wilder in late April or mid May.
But 2 weeks ago, we had this:
'I'd like a homecoming fight in April, maybe in Manchester or somewhere in the UK and then I'd like to fight Wilder again but if not, then just Wilder. And if not Wilder, I'll just have the homecoming fight,' he told BT Sport
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/bo...r-rematch.html
Sounds like cold feet to me, but if you'd like it phrased as "a bit of ambivalence" about fighting Wilder in the US next- which is what is going to happen if there is a rematch- I am fine with it.
But, I digress.
This thread is not about heavyweights.
This is about Manny and about his fans, especially the ones that lose their friggin' minds everytime Pac manages to not take an L.
And of course, he does that like he always has, carefully picking opponents until he meets one that either owns him or knocks him TFO.
If he fights Thurman, it will be the latter.
Now, if you don't mind, I am going to go laugh at all the Pac threads that have magically popped up since he won his Broner cherrypick.
They are comedy gold, and I get the feeling they will not last past Manny's next fight if he chooses a top guy.Comment

You’re always wrong. You had Broner KO’ing him and Pedraza beating Loma LOL and those fights were very one sided and you discredited both victories even though they proved you wrong as always.Sigh.

Pacquaio-Broner was a **** fight. You overrated Broner thinking he’s a top guy. You certainly didn’t claim cherry pick pre-fight lol so wrong again. It was a **** fight because Broner is **** and Pacquaio has been a shell of himself since Marquez nearly killed him.Comment

First, let me begin by saying hats off to Manny for still looking pretty good vs a younger guy.
But, let's not get carried away here.
Broner was picked by Pac and his people because of who he has been for years now- a guy that doesn't move his hands much in spite of his obvious talent.
Unless Broner was going to totally revamp his game (and it's on him that he didn't) there was no way he was going to throw enough to outwork Pac even at 40.
The interesting thing is that somehow Broner managed to inflict much more damage on Pacquiao with his few punches than Manny did landing over twice as much.
Broner looked just like he did postfight as prefight; Manny, on the other hand, was visibly marked up and is now under a doctor's care as of this date.
All this is to say that a few of you who follow Pac need to calm the hell down.
He isn't "back"...he never will be.
What Pac is now is a guy that can make money with carefully selected opponents, a guy that will never be a threat to the best in the division.
Whataminute...I just described Pac's whole career at welterweight.
Nevermind, maybe he is back...That is what you wrote before the fight...
Full disclosure, I picked Broner to win this by late KO even tho I think Manny should win.
I think Pac is going to make the same mistake he made against Marquez.
He will try to look good, try to close the show, and get caught by Adrien coming in.
Here's something else.
I am hearing from sources that have been watching Broner's camp closely that they have NEVER seen him like this, that he is razor sharp and everyone is in for a huge surprise. The sources are not connected to either camp and have no dog in the hunt. Take that any way you like.
Manny resume sh#t on ur current favorite fighter. You sound like a hater my man. Manny wont get back to what he used to be... of course he's 40 years with 70 pro fights...
You picked Broner to win but had to include Manny should win just to make sure not to make a wrong prediction. The guy you picked the get KOd got a 10-2 win over Broner at 40... Why you mad man?
Not sure why this thread was even made.
