If his best fighting weight is 118 then just stay at that weight his whole career and fight the best at that weight for years and become one of or maybe the greatest bantam weight in history. If he has trouble staying strong at 118 then move up to 122. He should not go to 126 just to show off. If there is a boxer who is almost as good as Inoue at 126 but a naturally bigger man he may beat Inoue just because he is bigger. Look what happened to Donaire and Gonzalez when they keep moving up in weight way past their ideal best fighting weight.
If a fighter dominates their weight class for a long time and cleans it out, there is almost always a demand for the fighter to push themselves and take on bigger challenges. The only division that doesn't experience this is heavyweight, because there's literally nowhere higher to go.In the ideal world,a boxer should be able to fight at the weight that they feel comfortable in,but that's not the case. One of the biggest criticisms of ggg has been the fact that he's never left 160. This is why Pacquiao is a freak of nature with titles in 8 different divisions. I agree with you that Inoue should find his ideal weight, and stick to it,but as he gains more fame, the demands for bigger challenges will rise along with it.

Yet when ggg was throttling opposition that wasn't even as good as Inoue has fought you had him #1 p4p. Kinda hypocritical of you isn't it?
