How far up can "the monster" Inoue go?

I'd say that he tops out at 126 lbs. He's 5'5 so he wouldn't be undersized at that weight, and I think that his power would carry up with him. What do you guys think?

Depends how his power carries and how good his skills are. He's an accurate puncher so his KO's come from technique as well as power. He might top out at 126/130 where he could have decent pop but will have to rely on his skillset

I think 126 max. At 130 he'd start to be too small and his power won't be as effective. Right now I see him becoming the greatest Asian fighter since Pacquiao and the greatest Japanese fighter of all time.

He looks better than ever at 118, so who knows. I really don't think anybody at 118 or below are on his level, think he'd be the best fighter at 122, 126 would make some monster fights where he'd be in some real tossups. Think he could probably cherry pick a belt at 130 and maybe even 135 with the right matchups. But could you imagine Inoue against the likes of Russell, LSC, Warrington and Valdez? Holy hell those are mouth watering fights

He needs to fight someone half decent in his current weight division. Whos he beat? Whats he ever done?

Why is it so popular these days to see how much heavier than his best fighting weight a boxer can go and still win world titles? I love Inoue. I would rather he decide what his best and most effective fighting weight is and remain forever at that weight going neither up nor down in weight. If his best fighting weight is 118 then just stay at that weight his whole career and fight the best at that weight for years and become one of or maybe the greatest bantam weight in history. If he has trouble staying strong at 118 then move up to 122. He should not go to 126 just to show off. If there is a boxer who is almost as good as Inoue at 126 but a naturally bigger man he may beat Inoue just because he is bigger. Look what happened to Donaire and Gonzalez when they keep moving up in weight way past their ideal best fighting weight.

I agree 126 is probably his ceiling, he could maybe win a title at 130 against the right type of opponent

Featherweight but I wouldnt mind if he stays and dominate his current division.

If there are no competition, he should move up and face Nery.
