"Nery was way over the 118-pound bantamweight division limit. On his first attempt, Nery weighed 123 pounds. He was given two hours to see how much weight he could lose. When he returned to the scale, he was 121 pounds, and the title was declared vacant. Yamanaka weighed 117.5 pounds."

First he came in 5lbs overweight...that is even over the Super Bantamweight Limit, then he still came in at 121 lbs (3lbs overweight) after draining himself. Yes that is massively overweight for that division. He had a big advantage because he didn't have to cut as much weight as Yamanaka which allowed him to be stronger and have an unfair advantage in the fight.
    Jerk.

Yamanaka was a natural 118 pounds fighter, he fought in that weight all his career

He never had problems to make that weight.

Nery looked like zombie in the second weight in

Jerk, in the ring, Yamanaka was in 128 pounds and Nery too

What's the massive weight difference ?

Nery only rehydrated 7 pounds, Yamanaka 10

My man come on now!!! That was pathetic what happened and he then tested positive the first time when he made weight.

Basically bad things happen when he tries to make 118. As a fighter? The dude is a beast no doubt and should make his home at 122.

People does not know the big problem with tainted meat in México

It's a mafia, and they think that is a excuse

He did the 118 in his last fight

Nery weighted 128 in the ring

Yamanaka weighted 128 in the ring

          What's the advantage ?

The advantage is one fighter had to make 118 the other didn't. If Nery cuts three more pounds you don't think that affects his performance come fight night?

Did you look how bad Nery was in the second weight in ?

He looked like zombie, totally drained

No, because Yamanaka never had troubles to make the weight

              And Nery looked like zombie

For a reason, Quigg against Valdez never wanted to cut more weight

It's dangerous cut the weight in those situations

Nery accepted all what Yamanaka said

Sure he looked drained, but he clearly can make 118 as he did recently. So what was the issue that fight? Nery was too much for Yamanaka regardless, that's the point here.

This is the best news of 2019. By this time next year the world will know how good Pantera is.
