Danny Jacobs to Make $15 Million vs Canelo

Sources familiar with the deal have indicated that Jacobs stands to collect as much as $15 million for the Alvarez fight, and a minimum of $4 million in his next two fights should he lose to Alvarez.

“If [Jacobs] wins or gets a draw, it’s big, big money for those next fights,” one individual familiar with the deal but unauthorized to comment publicly on it told The Times.
Canelo Alvarez is planning to follow his May 4 three-belt middleweight unification bout against Daniel Jacobs in Las Vegas with a trilogy fight against Gennady Golovkin in September, Alvarez’s trainer, Eddy Reynoso, told The Times.

Get your money Danny!!!!!! If they are offering THAT to Jacobs, how much do you think they are offering GGG per fight, and then for the Canelo fight?

DAZN is putting their money where their mouth is that is for sure. Will be taking humongous losses early on but that's the risk they are willing to take to build their brand before they go bid for other sports leagues.

Not bad. Just to think PBC fanboys said he should sign to them and fight once a year making $1.5m per fight and never have to face the elite fighters.

Nah, seems like a minimum of $23 million.

It says he can make up to $15 million for Canelo. Not sure what kind of numbers they will have to hit for that type of pay day.

Good for him, he seems like a great guy, which is getting more rare in boxing. Although it says as much as, so I'm assuming it's subscription based, gate, etc but even if its $10 mill it's life changing money and he deserves it, to come back from where he's come from and the life and death fight with GGG he's earned it

That will be tied to a number of subs that is most likely impossible to achieve.

He fought off cancer mid career and is now fighting the p4p best for tons of money.

Plus he has a really good shot at winning.

Great story and well deserved Danny!
